I have questions that will probably cause a huge debate and will seem like I don't care about my "cyber friends" (which I do) but here I go:

What can possibly replace a "real hug" and a "real kiss"? Are we so lonely or have no one else to turn to but our "cyber friends"? Do we have no one in our "real" life" that cares enough to listen, cry, and hug and kiss us when we need it? Do we depend too much on getting our loving from an internet site?

I love all the members here and this is my "second" family.

I do but as I said there is a reality between what is "real" and what is "cyber". As I stated before, all my "cyber friends" are wonderful. I don't think, however, Jj, you answered what happens when you need a "real" hug and kiss. For me to say I :-4 you, does that make my :-4 for you "real"?

when i need a real hug or kiss i get them Pj ...i get all the hugs and kisses i can handle in real life ... the giving or receiving hugs and kisses in the cyber world is a gesture of affection towards my many cyber friends ... including Pj :-4

As I stated this is going to cause me many negative responses. Can you explain to me why people would need to go to a site (any site) and ask me or you for a hug if they could just get that love and affection from "real" life?

i think PJ that in the cyber world, like the real world we make friends and become very close with people, when we talk with them everyday the way we do here. and the idea of a cyber hug or kiss is just our way of expressing that affection that you naturally get for people you talk with often. it doesn't replace any affection we get in the real world, we still have our family and friends out here and we can get plenty of hugs and kisses from them, i know my Jacob hugs and kisses on me all the time! but just because i can get that affection from real life doesn't mean i don't enjoy expressing affection for the friends i've made here by hugging them.
