I wish I had a hug from my husband. He deployed a couple weeks for training, and I miss him. He's been gone for much longer, so you'd think a couple weeks would be no big deal, but I miss him just the same.

I wish I could get some sleep though. My daughter is sick tonight. Out of nowhere, right before her bedtime.....not to be graphic, I'll just say that all her blankets had to be thrown in the wash. I feel so bad for her. She's a trooper though. Sitting on the couch with the trashcan she said "mom, i'll be fine. I don't need medicine. Just let me get the yucky stuff out of my stomach and I'll feel much better." She doesn't have a fever or anything, she's just clammy. She's sleeping at the moment, but I fear, not for long.

I sure hope she does. With her not carrying a fever, it makes me think that something she ate just didn't agree with her. I hope that's all it is. At least she's strong, and handles being sick much better than I do. When I'm sick, I'm down for the count.
