So.. you are saying that Eric Rudolphs planned bombings (yes they were multiple) are not equivilant to suicide bombings by Islamic extremeists... obviously you didn't read the venom filled statements he made in court when he was sentenced.. Or how about the fundamentalist (his name escapes me at the moment) that killed the doctor in Buffalo .. sniper style thru his window while his kid was standing there.. oh yes.. totally justified right.?? and how about Fred Phelps and his wonderful hate filled congregation at the Westboro Baptist church.. that approved of the killing of Matthew Shepard... a fine example of Christian love there. And lets not forget the Roman Catholic Church protecting all those fine upstanding priests.. yep.. pedophila central..

Any religion has it share of crackpots that take it to the extreme. Unfortunately they will always find someone that will listen to them. but to say the Christian fundementalists cannot be equated to Muslim extremists.. well.. cannot find much truth in that statement.. especially when you begin to examine history..

Was Rudolf State supported? When he was caught did others jump in to take his place? One or two crazed idiots do not a movement make.

You can't assign bad things to religion pretending the rest of humanity is pure. What was Pol PotÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s religion?

I am biased. Let us go forth with that understanding. I didn't think I was pretending not to be. I was trying to point out a bias that I believe is being ineffectively concealed.

Allow me to pick up two sentences from your post, as I do not want to debate this or that extremism. I wish to concentrate on the issue and do not want to keep personalities while doing so.

Yes, you are right about these crackpots and their supporters. It is unfortunate that because of a few of such negative people a majority of positive people are made to suffer.
