Hi Carol !! I believe it's a public holiday today --- in Australia, but not sure. These hairdressers, they're not Strine are they ? :wah:

Sounds like one may need a SatNav to get around your estate Mrs. !! I'd love to see some more pics of your garden, as it is now, and also your cottage, as it sounds lovely, from the outside as well. I've got pics of my cottages ( 2 , we moved to the second one cos it was a bit bigger !), but they're too big, to put on here, and I'm still trying to sort out how to reduce the size of my existing pics - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr They both had beamed ceilings in them ! One of my biggest mistakes was moving away from the country and into suburbia. :(

Hi everybody ! Hope you're having a good day today :-6

It is very warm where I am, Nottingham England. Over 80 F today, but dropped back a bit now (6.20pm UK). :-6 The temp in the house is 83 F at the moment, that's with all the windows open, and the big fan on 'high', oh and the curtains closed against the fixed windows, cos we've got wall to wall windows in our sitting room ! But at least our German Shepherd is not panting. :)

Hope you all have a good evening (Uk), good day (US), or a good sleep (Aussie) ! :wah::wah: :-4

It sounds idyllic Carol. I can't tell you how much I miss the countryside. :( Is that golf course an 18 hole (full size ) one ? Ere I hope you aint in line to catch a wayward golf ball that's belted by an over-trained beginner ! Is you cottage on it's own, or do you have neighbours? Ours was on the main village street, and there were cottages up and down the road either side of us. Then a couple of years before we moved a few 'posh' detached houses were built to fill in plots of open land between some of the cottages, and about four were built at the back of our garden in our second cottage. But that didn't make much difference to us cos our garden was 1/4 acre, so we were not crowded. It was a lovely farming village. The only snag with that was that cows were herded along the road past our house four times a day. From the field to the milking parlour, then back - in the early morning, then about tea time, a repeat ! They always timed dropping their 'pats' just outside our cottage ! Each time they went by, that's 4 loads each day, 365 days in the year x about 50 cows! Anyone good at maths ? Still we had bloody good roses :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

That's been in all the press and TV, and the goalkeeper for Plymouth Argyle football team has been arrested and charged with dangerous driving and possibly over the limit ! What a wanker, that's his career done for, and what he did to that family, and the Dad is in intensive care. Devastating. Must have brought back some unwanted memories to you Carol !
