When I try to uninstall AVG on that laptop its saying this...........the program needs to be updated to support the version of the file.File version 7.0.54 but program version is 7.0.52................

ok if you have tried to intall avg 8 over the old version and its gone belly up, I suggest you do a system restore to the point before that and then try and uninstall it again. If it works then try avg 8 again:)

click on about in avg and it should give you the licence number that was assigned to your install.

Just type that you have avg and are trying to update to avg 8 (both free versions) and you are getting the following error.

Im so damn annoyed, some stupid idiots are letting off fireworks over in the next estate...Been going on 10 minutes and were at 11pm now, not only has it woke the kids up but the dog is petrified and has pukked up all over me bed, its seeped straight through to the mattress. Had to wash the duvet plus the bedding, turn the bloody mattress and remake the bed, carry the dog upstairs to be with the kids cos their upset hes upset..............Total immbeciles:-5:-5:-5
