I was bad last night G#Gill. Not what ya probably are thinking. I fell into bad company sure but it was of the book variety. Couldnt put the blood765 thing down and then decided to watch television. Got to bed VERY early.. :sneaky:

(A girl hasta have a break from dancing, painting the town red, karaoke, unbridled wickedness, parties, pubs, booze, midnight trysts... occasionallly - but this was taking things too far...)

Sigh

Hi all !! Carol, Milly, Kay, Hope, Pam and all.......... :-6 :D

Ere, I may have put this on before, but can't remember

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote 'The Hokie Cokey' died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in.... And then the trouble started.

Click on the link below, and have your sound up !!

When me prayers were poorly said

Who tucked me in me widdle bed

And spanked me till me arse was red,

Me Mudder!

Who took me from me cozy cot

And put me on the ice cold pot

And made me pee when I could not,

Me Mudder!

And when the morning light would come

And in me crib me dribbled some

Who wiped me tiny widdle bum,

Me Mudder!

Who would me hair so neatly part

And hug me gently to her heart

Who sometimes squeezed me till me fart,

Me Mudder!

Who looked at me with eyebrows knit

And nearly have a king size fit

When in me Sunday pants me s*** ,

Me Mudder!

When at night her bed did squeak

Me raised me head to have a peak

Who yelled at me to go to sleep,

Me Fadder!

You may have seen this before as well ! But I think it's worth another peep :wah:

For those of who still remember Julie Andrews from 'Sound of Music'....

:-)

Read on...and enjoy! It wouldn't be funny if it wasn't so true... Julie

Andrews turned 69 - To commemorate her 69th birthday on October 1,

actress/ vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at

Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP (American

Association of Retired Persons). One of the musical numbers she

performed was 'My Favorite Things' from the legendary movie 'Sound Of

Music.' Here are the actual lyrics she used:

Maalox and nose drops and needles for knitting, Walkers and handrails

and new dental fittings, Bundles of magazines tied up in string, These

are a few of my favorite things.

Cadillacs and cataracts, and hearing aids and glasses, Polident and

Fixodent and false teeth in glasses, Pacemakers, golf carts and porches

with swings, These are a few of my favorite things.

When the pipes leak,

When the bones creak,

When the knees go bad,

I simply remember my favorite things,

And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions, No spicy hot food or

food cooked with onions, Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they

bring, These are a few of my favorite things.

Back pains, confused brains, and no need for sinnin', Thin bones and

fractures and hair that is thinnin', And we won't mention our short,

shrunken frames, When we remember our favorite things.

When the joints ache,

When the hips break,

When the eyes grow dim,

Then I remember the great life I've had, And then I don't feel so bad.

I BET YOU ALL PUT THAT TO MUSIC!

(Ms. Andrews received a standing ovation from the crowd that lasted over

four minutes and repeated encores.)

I have just raided me piggy bank and bought meself a PC Memory Stick, that makes 2 that I've got. I x 4 GB for saving all Chris's stuff, and 1 x 8 GB for all mine :wah:, well I've got a bit more stuff to save than Chris has (he's only got a few poxy emails etc).

So I shall copy all the stuff we need to save, onto these Memory Sticks, then I can delete all that stuff from my laptop. It won't half increase it's speed ! Then if I need to get something from me documents or whatever, I just stick the Memory Stick into one of my USB ports and away I go !! Good innit? They're only tiny things as well, so I can keep them in my purse, or tuck them in me laptop carrying case !! Or if I want I can put them in the special little case and clip them to me belt or where ever! :p :D  ;)

ALSO, and probably more importantly, they act as a back up, in case you have something happen to the laptop, then at least you've got your important items safe, if you have to wipe everything off the PC, because you can keep adding stuff to your Memory Stick, as you need to save it.

Fresh from my shower, I stood in front of the mirror complaining to my

husband that my breasts are too small.

Instead of romantically telling me this is not true, he

uncharacteristically comes up with a suggestion: 'If you want your

Breasts to grow, then take a piece of toilet paper and rub it between

them for a few seconds every day'

Willing to try anything, I got a piece of toilet paper and stood in

front of the mirror, rubbing it between my breasts.

How long will this take?' I asked.

They will grow larger over a period of years,' my husband replies.

I stopped. 'Do you really think rubbing a piece of toilet paper between

my breasts every day will make my breasts larger over the years?'

Without missing a beat he said 'Worked for your bum, didn't it???

He's still alive, and with a great deal of therapy, he may even walk

again although he will probably continue to take his meals through a

straw.

Stupid, stupid man!!!:-5:-5:sneaky:
