Wow that's like a lifetime of events for me hahaha.

I'm actually pretty good at Maths, so if you need any help let me know I'll try and best I can, good luck with the course though - Algebra is pretty difficult and yet really has no meaning in real life (so why they have it in Maths lessons I still don't know!) :-3

No doubt about the snow, man is your sister lucky. All we get is rain, rain and more rain - boring and no fun at all! :(

As for your brother, wow he just had a seizure, that's not good, and you say he has had two during such a short space of time. I'm really no expert, but I would say that is worrying, he should seek some help if you ask me.

But I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying your summer break so far, and of course we all know that the highlight has been seeing me and Mustang today - right hehehe. Oh and I don't run away, it's just that I forget something that's all, I'm not scared of anyone (except you!) ;) :D

Well I'm glad that he is at least on some kind of medication, but he really should keep on track and take, before something bad happens!

And as for that last part - Mustang lighting up your world, with rainbows and stars and so on, now that is FUNNY!!! I never knew you were such a bright spark Mustang, and apparently in league with fairies (I mean I always knew you were a little magical, but not like that!) :wah: :D

I'm fine thanks, Carolly. Just got back from France. How are you? And yes, Minks - what the heck????!! I only just met Hope, so have no idea what gives. Would hate to think someone is monstering her? Maybe she's bored with us, or her computer is about to take a big final dive, or she just hasn't time for online chat. Could really be anything. Odd way to say goodbye though. Is there something in some other thread? I only have time myself to read a few, so miss a lot of the more exotic happenings of the Garden.

It is 4am here and I have just spent a long while comforting Hope on MSN....shes very upset over something which is not upto me to repeat but something I feel is a misunderstanding and will be sorted by those involved. We all misread things at times...... as im sure this is the case.Pop in some time Pam....still got yer clothes you left after yer quick getaway after the Xmas party;)

Hi Koochi. That's how I feel too. The Garden is a big place and there have always been a few people here who get off on making others unhappy. The secret seems to be not to let them succeed. Also, on the internet, misunderstandings happen often for no other reason than many of us are from different cultures and backgrounds, and words can be misinterpreted - especially when you can't see a face, or experience body language to provide a key to those words. Something said routinely in fun, for instance, with a wry smile, can seem a serious insult without the other guidelines. I hope she comes back.

I had quite a long absence from here and upon my recent return I found that sooo many people were no longer here. I wondered why, as this was such a great, friendly forum, yes heated debates often occured, but usually they sorted themselves out. Nasty people weren't tolerated and the garden was a fine, close knit place to be. Why have so many left? :-3Some of us are fed up with being belittled and "jumped" on when we have our say on certain subjects and many seem just to be picked on because certain people may not like that person. There not debates fgs.For a fine example I suggest you look at the thread Afghan Honor Killing in Germany by RedGlitter. Many of us have found forums where we can do posts without the fear of this form of bullying.Iwill for the moment continue with the FOC thread as I was going but realised it would upset some good friends, but I wont be posting any more threads or indeed visit any other than ones like this where I have friends. This forum has lost some damn nice people since I joined and the main problem for this is obvious to so many and yet others seem to see otherwise. We all have to do at the end of the day what we feel comfortable with.

koochikoo;876913 wrote: Hi Carol, I don't think we've properly met yet, how are you :-6

I just took a look at the thread you mentioned and think I know what you mean. An opinion is your own freedom of thought and a contrary opinion should be allowed without it being picked to pieces, words being put into mouths and things being taken out of context. Where are the friendly debates we used to have here, it seems more highly-strung since I've been back. We do need to feel comfortable with posting in a thread without fear of any form of bullying. We are all different people from different cultures and lifestyles, of course we're not all going to see eye to eye, and that just has to be accepted. Sometimes a post may make us feel like jumping on someone, but we have to remember where we are and that we are not always right.

I do hope you decide to stay Carol, although I haven't yet 'mingled' with you, I have noticed you are a very popular FG identity with many friends here who I'm sure would miss you terribly. :)What a lovely thing to say and thankyou for that babe and remember your always welcome on the Friends For Carol thread where you will see some friends from here also.

I have been at the end of this type of bullying and its very frustrating when you have to hold back certain things you want to say but also know you would be thrown off of the site as many have before.Yes certain people it seems can say what they like and yet time after time are allowed to get away with it.However people have choices and as the records show now many have taken offers up to join other Forums where they know they wont have to put up with behaviour that is at times is like something from a schools playground. Most of us here are because we want a laugh....unwind from pressures.....illness or just everyday life and the last thing we need or want is a form of bullying online.Good to meet you babe;)
