As for the rain, yeah we tend to get hard by the rain where we live, though thankfully we don't leave next to the River Severn like a lot do in our city, and it always overflows, now they are the people I really feel bad for during these times. For us it's really the wind, because it keeps blowing our darn fench panels over - I MEAN STOP IT AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. Ok glad I got that out of my system! Ere are you really our Chris..........or have you taken over his body:wah::wah:;)

I don't think it feels like summer anywhere actually not just Essex. Infact the whole week has been rubbish!!

Carol im so glad you are not abandoning this thread:-4,,, i know it is a bit iffy sometimes in other places in the Garden,,, personally i have learnt not to let it bother me that much or at least not to take it personally..(other ppls problem not mine). I sort of think of it like,,,, everyone likes different types of subjects/threads,, some like funny upbeat soppy fluffy ones others like serious ones to get their teeth in to and dont bother with other threads. I must admit i have read threads but not posted,, mostly serious ones or ones i dont really know much about the subject to contribute, but may be interested to read, and of course there are other threads i dont even look at.

Kay i hope you dont abandon us either:-4

well i did read right back to before i went off,,, and had loads of answers for people but cant remember them all now:wah: Anyway i saw some lovely poems,, some good support and love, some funny quips, some problems health and otherwise, and some friendly concern for those peopel who are not well or are having problems.

im off to take Sheila out for a quick walk,, its horrid out there,, and she has no bandage on now,, the vet decided to leave it off when we took her on Sunday as her paws were getting too sweaty and sore..she still has the staples in though so its best not to have her out in the wet too much

Absolutely fantastic post back there Gill and I agree 100%.

The internet is my escape from real life. Sometimes real life takes over and has to come first. When it doesnt I come online. I am a mod on two other forums and I was admin on another but ive just taken over the overall running of that forum, plus im on other games forums. Like I said the other day, im not happy with the way the garden is going from when i first joined, the fun just isnt there for me, its all debates and religion and word games with the odd good post now and again. I got invited to a new forum which is fun so I have been spending more time there BUT like I said id still pop in here every day and say hi.

The FOC thread is awesome and alot of love is felt here. I personally cannot and will not be tied to posting a certain amount and be made to feel that just cos im on the forum I have to be in the foc thread all the time because then I would just be posting for the sake of it. To be honest, theirs only a few times I have come on and not read back due to lack of time because when i do read back it can take over an hour to get through all the posts:-5.

I feel sometimes Carol babe that you get a little too over emotional and take things personally and then that spills out here and if you see someone online at fg and they havent yet posted in FOC you take it personally, you shouldnt babes. You need to chill and get back to having fun and not worrying about how many posts people have made. When I first joined, you didnt have as many regulars visiting this place as you do now. We have people who come and take time out to visit this thread every day no matter what.

This thread will never die, people have invested too much time and beautiful friendships have been formed and many a laugh has been had.

We are all here doing our best, whatever that is.........lets just enjoy each others company and have fun.

Lastly I think each and every one of you are awesome:-4

Its sad but true that you always get people who dont know how to be at least civil... but thats people ,,I just try not to interact with them, its not worth geting upset over. I'm always saying to carol (and others) take no notice,, or laugh it off,, you dont know these people and they dont know you so why should they matter? but im me and Carol is Carol,, and you are you ,, we cant all be the same, and to be honest if Carol wasnt as sensitive as she is ,, well she wouldnt be such a caring and loving friend:-4
