Really wet. Rained all weekend and can't do much outdoors. :rolleyes: Everything is growing rapidly though.

Northeast. We're into Spring right now, with Summer right around the corner. This is the wettest Spring we've had in a long time. My wife is getting anxious to get her veggie garden planted, but this weather just isn't cooperating.

KAZ I have been finking about it yer know and honestly fink you shouldnt pay that bill............its a bloody joke.Tell them that and you intend to go to your local paper and ask them if they fink its taking the pee and to warn people about vet charges..........im sure they dont want that the robbing toerags.....honestly theres no way Id pay that bill until it was knocked down.....other than that tell em IM GONNA COME AN SORT EM OUT:-5:sneaky::driving:

Carol I've just read about Kaz FFS !!! Even allowing for possible out-of-hours charge, that is very high, and even if they gave an antibiotic injection as well. I wonder if she could query the charge, as she was in 'shock' at the time and not thinking straight. Do you know if Kaz has got Pet Insurance ? If not, it could well pay her in the end.

No Gill I had a crap night. I couldnt sleep and when I could Shayden was whimpering. He is not coping with the transistion very well. They make the decision today if he goes today or they continue the transistion for another week. For Shaydens sake I hope he goes today as he is very confused

I expect Kaz did. I'd love to see it though. Consultation at our vet is around £15 then medicines etc are charged extra of course. But animal medicine for some reason, is far more money than for humans -- i could never understand that !:mad:

Think Shayden might have a sore throat so am just waiting for Latesha to come home and I will take him to the medical centre as our family doctor is booked out all week

Went to the Medical Centre at 3pm and there was a 2 hour wait so I put his name down came home fed and dressed the babies in their pjs and went back at 5.15 pm and got in at 6.30pm:( Anyhow Shayden has picked up some sort of viral infection:(

Hi Kay, thinking of you chuck :-4 and hugs for Shayden ((((((( Shayden ))))))) the poor little chap, he seems to have been through it these last weeks with one thing and another, bless his little cotton socks. They are so small to have to cope with stuff at his age :-4 But I'm sure he will be OK, he seems a tough little man !! Seems to be a strange system over there Kay. Our doctor's practice always set aside some time each day to see emergencies, particularly babies ! But that is our doctors' practice, I expect others just plough through on a first come first served basis. Seems that healthcare worldwide is sadly lacking!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
