If God appeared tomorrow?

Post by Chezzie »

If God appeared in human form tomorrow on the streets of London and if he started telling the people that he was God, do you think anyone would believe him? Or do you think they would think he's just some wacko?

Do you think those that think they know Him would know Him at once, and those who don't, would question and hopefully make an amazing discovery?

Would it be the end of the world,or would it be the beginning?

Would Steven Spielberg be first to say hi?:sneaky:

I think he would have to perform a miracle before most would believe. Anyway why London? Has he heard that Heathrow is a good arrival point, if so which terminal? :)

I think that most people would just consider the guy either crazy or dilusional unless as Pheasy says he does something to prove people wrong, but that would have to be something big. I mean otherwise to people, he may as well just be another Joe Bloggs who thinks he is something that he's not.

I am an American but I would have picked Philadelphia, PA:wah: But then again, Jesus would probably get lost in the airport, so maybe a better place would be to have him down at the Reading Terminal Market or at Pat's or Geno's Steaks.:wah:

Perhaps he could appear here instead. Our city is SOOOOO boring and in need of a miracle that God appearing here would really change things for the better. :wah:

Some say the reason Jesus could not convince anyone in his village to follow him was because when he made his declaration in the synagogue his scrotum actually shrunk and disappeared before everyones eyes as Jesus cried in pain. Therefore the rest of the men said "no way am I going to go through that." And the women told the men they better not too.

Then there is the episode in the Garden when Peter wanted to fight, but Jesus told Peter....well, you know the story.....Thats why Peter gave Jesus up (denied him) later that evening.....Peter was mad at Jesus because he was afraid to fight......hence Peter knew at that point that Jesus had no balls...

The daunting question right now is; "Do I have the balls to hit the submit button?" If you are reading this, you know the answer...

You can open your eyes now RJ, I can confirm that you did hit that 'submit' button :D Good Luck

Let's see if Jesus appeared here tomorrow. Yes, he would surely come to my house and have some good cooking. Sorry though, no room at the inn. He can have the sofa.:)

thats great lol but what id really like to know is if those that believe in him would know that he was who he said he was, purely as they "have faith".

What efect would he then have on the world today?

I'd have to say I'd have faith if he liked my cooking and found the sofa comfy. At least everybody else does.:) But, I have good faith that he won't complain.

Some of us believe that God is omnipresent.........everywhere. That means He is in all of us..............So any one walking the streets of Chicago or London or Sydney has His essence. People you talk to everday, or pass by in the streets, should be treated as though they "are" Jesus. With respect and dignity, courtesy, kindness, patience, empathy and tolerance.

So, in a way, God is already here. Waiting.:)

:yh_clap:yh_clap Awesome Post my sista!

I know that if God made himself of human form, we would know it....I feel his presence in my life daily, he doesn't need to be in human form for me, I know he guides me through my days un-harmed and truly blessed!:-6

There are too many self-proclaimed prophet today, I have a good friend who is a real prophet and I am in awe in her presence whenever I'm around her.

I used to listen to this song on an old cassette tape years ago...
