I hear ya luv. So sorry about your mower. I've been there with my last home. I had a small home and a ton of lawn. It took me 3 hours every week to mow the lawn in 90 degree F to complete the job. I'm allergic to mold and grass so needless to say I would sneeze and caugh till my lungs almost fell apart:wah:

Didn't hire a lawn service to cut the grass as it was sooooooo expensive.

Wish I could come over to Oz and mow it for ya...I mean that:-4

You a sweetie Kathy, but there is no way I would even let ya mow the lawns with your allergies. You right about it being expensive to hire someone though...its a joke what they charge.

Ahhhh Kay, you're such a sweetie too..hope we can meet one day when I venture to Oz to see Aussie Pam....I'm thinking hard about it....

I finally got rid of my backyard lawn and put down pavers. Unfortunately, the company didn't put down any netting...just some sand.....Now, between my pavers are tons and tons of weeds because the seeds fly to my yard from the home behind me. Hopefully, I think I finally found a service will pluck the millions of weeds and hopefully come during the summertime to weed again. I'm calling this new service tomorrow so hope all will work out:-6

BUT GEEZE.....Kay, that's TOO much for you to do...can no one help you:-3

Would love to meet up with you Kathy. I live about an hour from Pam in sydney but I have got a sister in Canberra:)

I dont mind mowing keeps me fit, its just having two babies does make it hard time wise, but they will be gone soon and I hope to take a 6 month break.

My eldest daughter is having a few problems so want to go visit her, she lives about 7 hours away and she has got 4 children and 2 are autistic. She lives on acres and has a beautiful garden, and has cows etc and I love it down there. Wouldnt mind moving down there actually:)

right the pork is roasted, roast taties nearly done and so is veg so i will be serving up lunch shortly. then its dog walking and hopefully will get back here again for a bit more (uninterrupted) time.

yeah, i was going to church but it's kinda cool and damp for taking Jacob out and he's still asleep anyway, so i think i'm gonna stay at home. bad bad Hope!:wah:
