Just a couple of pics of the fireplace make over I did around Christmas thyme, it's still not completely done, as we are going to take off the original mantel shelf and make it the same size as the lower one I made. My wife faux painted the shelf and corbels to match the marble tiles, the woodwork is oak plywood stained w/ ebony. Eventually the woodwork will go to the top of the 10ft. walls.
