my mom and i use a pressure canner for canning stuff we get out of the garden and she has a pressure cooker for cooking beans and stuff, it's really quick!

yeah Hope, pressure cookers are fast. Takes only 30 minutes for a slab of baby back ribs to get done and boy are they ever tender!

Yep! :-6

Takes 1/3 of the time in a pressure cooker than in an oven and the food is so tender! When I fisrt got mine, I used it 5 out of 7 days a week.

Tried just about everything in it! Roasts are excellent!

I got an electric one, oval shaped 6 quarter, from QVC. Perfectly safe, makes no noise and beeps when it's done. They do have a bigger one now, an 8 quarter, for larger families.

It's worth checking out! My wife uses it to make her potatoes in it for potato salad, which only takes 10 minutes.

Oh, you know. People forgot things at the house and I have to go deliver their stuff, laundry (what else is new:wah:), oh an we're having my favorite gourmet pizza tonight with the cheeze on the bottom/sauce on top. They use real tomatoes chopped up.:-4

Spicy burritos with hot peppers, tomatoes, onions, cheddar cheese and scrambled eggs. Oh and Hope and Mustang helped me prepare about a dozen of them.
