where's my post?

I've only been a member of one other forumn so am not very literate on these things. Question: When I post a reply to a thread, shouldn't it appear, with my name being the last person who responded, on the most recent posted threads? I never see what I posted show up.

I have all the threads showing as most recent to last.....meaning page 1 should show all the most recent posts, but I just posted and the topic doesn't even show up on the first page, or any others actually.

I can see you posts RT, be specific about which thread and then others can tell you if we see it.

I'm fairly certain Fuzzy stole it, I did see her sneaking in to a thread, looking VERY suspicious - I have a perfect view of the crime scene from my hiding place behind my conifer tree

Depends on where you're looking. Once you're logged in the New Posts list will only show what you haven't read yet. It will never show your post except in the rare instance that someone else posts in the same thread while you were posting. It should show up on the home page, right hand side, though.

Redtail: Well, I'm sure this thread has cleared up your problem!

In the unlikely situation it hasn't, it might be that your search engine hasn't updated yet. Mine seems to do so about every two hours, as far as I can see. Try looking under Today's Posts, which seems to register things much more quickly.

Did you manage to see this thread after you posted it?

Did you write something offensive that got deleted?

Does this happen all the time?

Did you decide to make it font size "0"?

Are you another member on this forum?

thanks clod, i clicked on todays posts and it seemed to be more recent stuff.........glad I gave yall a good laugh, but i wasn't kidding, i can be a bit on the duh side sometimes....but you'll grow to love me

Some of us have bad eyesight or have small screens and the purple dosent show up as good as the black does.

Make your post & send it. Then click the back button twice. Then click refresh.

I find when I make a post & click send my post appears on it's own. I want to see it under the others on that thread. I use the method above to solve this problem too.
