here in cornwall,

we are now paying one of the highest prices in the country for fuel, £1-24p a litre.

BP and SHELL made a SIX BILLION POUND PPROFIT in the first quarter of this year, hope they make the most of it cos no one is going to be able to afford to run a car soon !!

hi ducky,

the trouble where i live theres lots of little villages that are in out of the way places, even some houses might be two or three miles away from a main road., down long dirt tracks. bus services are so few and far between in these areas that a car is a necessity not a luxury.

its two miles to the local supermarket where i live and im in the middle of a big town !!!

I've been filling up once a week with a gift card I get at my kid's school and helps save on the tuition cost. But it's just awful with the prices going up on everything.

we have a place in dorset on the south coast of england, called abbotsbury, theres a huge nature reserve there and the first baby swans of the year have been born there, some six weeks early, not been heard of in the 600 year history of the place.

the first babies are supposed to signify the first day of summer............. dont know where they got that silly idea from :-2:rolleyes:
