When I was younger, two of my Irish friends taught us the history of "Anzac" and taught us the harmony for this song. My family sings this song at our gatherings , and there is not a dry eye in the group. I cannot hear that song without becoming very emotional....it's part of my family history now....It's a beautiful song indeed.
These were terrible wars and left so many families losed without their loved ones and in so much pain.
