DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Qaeda in Iraq has killed Egypt's top envoy to the country, saying he represented a "tyrannical" government allied to the enemies of Islam, the group, which had kidnapped the envoy, said in an Internet statement.

"We al Qaeda in Iraq announce that the judgement of God has been implemented against the ambassador of the infidels, the ambassador of Egypt. Oh enemy of God, Ihab el-Sherif, this is your punishment in this life," said the group, led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The group posted a video showing the hostage speaking but did not show the actual killing.

Not all Muslims are bad. Every group/religion/culture has its extremists, and they are the problem. The terrorists have to irradicated, or our world will never see peace again.

It's a sad time for us all. It's a scary world we now live in, and our children's futures are in jeopardy because of the current situations.

What I want to know is how are they getting their the directives from God. Is it one of them who speaks to God or does God speak to them as a group? Did God tell them what punishment to give or was that just interpretation? OH - I thought God spoke to all religions - I must be smoking too much crack again. :rolleyes:

Would you believe friday (one day after the bombings)i was on a bus in islington (Just a few mins away from kings cross) and there were about 8 muslim kids dressed in schcool uniform ,it was just after 12 noon and they were laughing and shouting out that they had bombs on the bus they really thought is was funny laughing and joking shouting at passengers that they had bombs .i shouted at them to shut their nasty little mouths and that they were on cctv, they didnt care THEY THOUGHT IS WAS FUNNY.when i told the driver to intervene he said im only the driver so i drive . so muslim kids think its funny that london was bombed why am i suprised ive never seen a muslim adult stand up and condem these terrorists .i also do believe the government were fore warned i came back from holiday last week and coming into luton there were 2000 people standing on the runway trying to get into the terminal why because every single person now has to show their passport to an immirgration offcial-some body knows more than they are saying!!!!!!!!

Muslim extremist Omar Bakri ” speaking in London’s East End ” said suicide bombers were assured a place in paradise.

Bakri described such bombings as “self-sacrifice operations”.

An example would be to crash a plane on to 10 Downing Street or the White House, he told a cheering audience of Muslims, including around ten young children.

The Syrian-born cleric read out a list where terrorist atrocities had been carried out ” New York’s Twin Towers, the bombing of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the Bali blast, and the bomb attack on the destroyer USS Cole in Yemen.

And he praised the September 11 bombers as the “Glorious 19 hijackers”.

Bakri ” who runs a group dedicated to creating an Islamic state in Britain ” is a pal of Hamza, who is facing deportation for preaching hate.

Last night outraged Tory MP Patrick Mercer declared: “Omar Bakri should be locked up. He’s encouraging others to commit crimes in this country and other countries.

“It’s absolutely astounding that these things are being said inside Great Britain today. He’s clearly breaking the law. I’m sure he could probably be accused of treason.

“The fact there are ten-year-olds in the audience, who are vulnerable and highly persuasive, is very worrying”.

Journalist Kenyon, 37, added: “The sense of it was that you must prepare yourselves for glorious deaths as martyrs and that they had a duty to become martyrs if called upon.

“He’s clearly giving them advice on what to do and to have their affairs tidied up before they go. It made my skin crawl.”
