Mom NEEDS your HELP!!

Ok - Can you all please take time out of your day to email FOX and CNN and any other news source - give them this email address.... www.theiowachannel.com and ask them to give Evelyns story some air time.. This little girl is missing from Charles City, Iowa ( averey small town in Iowa)- The fiance that was watching her has passed a lie detector test - and still there is nothing out there...She is GONE! She doesn't qualify for a Amber Alert, as there is no vehicle or description...Maybe if a bunch of us email them they will give her some air time..Our local paper didn't even put her picture in the paper! I printed out some flyers and have been putting them up in the local stores...If you can help I would appreciate it! She is just beautiful!

Sheriff: Finding Floyd Child Is Mission

Investigation Called Missing Person Case

FLOYD, Iowa -- The Floyd County Sheriff's Office is examining evidence that may connect two men to Evelyn Miller's disappearance.

Miller, 5, was last seen early Friday, asleep on a love seat in her family's apartment in rural Floyd. When her mother, Noel Miller, come home from her job at about 6:30 a.m., the apartment door was slightly open and her daughter was gone.

Tuesday, about 160 volunteers have fanned out in an eight-mile radius around the child's apartment complex.

Police executed a search warrant Monday at an address in Charles City.

Floyd County Sheriff Rick Lynch said three people live at the house, including two friends of Miller's fiance, Casey Fredericksen.

Evelyn's mother said the two men who at the house were the last people to see her 5-year-old in the family's apartment.

Police aren't saying whom they're interested in or why they executed the search, but they were seen carrying several bags of evidence from the house.

"Nobody is in custody in this case," Lynch said. "At this point they're not even calling it an abduction, it's a missing person case."

More than 200 volunteers searched ditches, bridges, waterways and fields for traces of the child Monday. The search resumes Tuesday morning, and the sheriff said more volunteers are needed.

The sheriff's officials announced that they will no longer speak to the media about the case.

They are referring all calls to the County attorney's office. The Floyd County Attorney's office did not return NewsChannel 8's calls Tuesday morning.

A news conference with the girl's family and authorities is set for 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Floyd Community Center, which has been into a command center for the volunteer search efforts.

Why isn't this story publicized more? Do the authorities know more than they are letting on? Is the search still on?

Mom, you will be glad to know the nancy grace program on CNN headline news program, (8 PM eastern every weeknight, not the regular CNN but their headline news show, check your local listings) featured Evelyn's case tonight, and they always follow up.

Thanks so much to everyone who dropped an email to CNN and FOX- The trucks rolled in to Floyd this afternoon and the local news said that they were seeing more big news trucks by the hour! I will go help search on Friday again- Here's hoping she is home by then...
