Internet Libel Getting Some Precedence

A real estate company that was viciously maligned by a competitor won 100 000GBP in compensation for online libel. It took a fair bit of effort to figure out who was behind the site printing numerous slanders about Gentoo Ltd. but those responsible were finally singled out and settled out of court.

The internet is still rather lawless. Perhaps the cyber police are finally badging up.
