I'm Back:D finished all my reports, had a nice lunch an cleaned up, took dog back out, now i'm having a bit play time on here. i will be popping on and off cos i have to get stuff sorted for tomorrow, we are going to the caravan straight after work tomorrow so after today i wont be here til maybe Thursday:driving:;)

i was feeling pretty down a while ago cos my team ... Everton ... lost the

Liverpool derby today ... :-1 :-1

however something else happened shortly after that which sent shivers up and

down my spine and took my breath away ... what was it?

it was six songs from a cd by our own Carol which i heard a while ago for the first

time ...

i have to confess ... and i do know a little bit about music ... that my lil' pussycat is

one of the finest singers i have heard for a long long time ...

get back bette midler ... get back connie francis ... get back petula clark ... make

way for carol!!!!

seriously folks this lady is a singer par excellence ... where has she been?

Hi all again ! Not been too bad a day weatherwise, at least we've had a bit of sun, no rain thank goodness, and not so cold. It seems the week will be a little warmer with a few showers so you should get some good weather Kaz for a visit to your VVVPV !

Just taking a little break and pop in here to have a chat for a short while.

The other night I got a ticket on my car, for obstructing the pavement where I parked my car ! Like in my Avatar but further onto the grass. The ticket was timed at just before midnight ! I will not pay it, because we are writing to the Chief Constable to get the ticket cancelled --- the stupid plod wrote the wrong street name down didn't he. OK technically I was obstructing the pavement, but the roads round our way are not very wide, and I've been parking like that for nearly a year, and there are other pathways available to people which are no further out of their way to use. We parked it there because it showed on our CCTV camera, strange we didn't notice that plod at our car ! Oh well we've now parked right outside our house with all four wheels on the actual road, so sod em all.

I wonder why these plods can't clear away the bloody gangs of youths that mill around our road causing problems ?! Oh of course, an incorrectly parked car is a much easier target, regardless of the assistance the owner of that car has given to the police in the past ! Well we are not happy about this at all, OK it seems petty, and yes we were incorrectly parked, but they could have found the owner's address within a couple of minutes, we were still up at that time and would have moved the car had a plod asked us to - no problem, but no they wouldn't do that would they? We have had the two Reliant three wheelers rolled over several times, we've had on separate occasions four car windows stoved in and one occasion when one of the Reliants had a window shot out by a powerful air gun ! We've had an attempted theft of a rear wheel of my son's Reliant and the damage caused by this attempt wrote the car off ! We've had airgun's firing pellets at our windows, we've had the root ball of our next door neighbour's shrub thrown through a downstairs window - sounded like a bomb going off ! It's just as well nobody was in that room at the time! We've been burgled at least three times, once when the bastards trashed the house in the afternoon while we were away visiting my dying mother in hospital. This incident contributed greatly to our lovely old dog having a stroke a few days later!

And so it goes on ------ and what do the wonderful police do ? Give us a bloody fixed penalty ticket for parking half across a pavement. None of the incidents I have listed have ever been solved - we're just a statistic on the police records.

Sorry about the rant ! But I do feel a little better now.

Thanks Carol. Well if they don't cancel the ticket, I will be glad to go to court --- it will be thrown out on a technicality, namely the wrong street name for where my car was actually parked ! They can soddin well please themselves ! :rolleyes:

I have been watching my favourite fing on tele at the moment and Im sitting here in tears:-1.........first girl went tonight and she moved me so much singing at the end As Long As He Needs Me..........tell you a secret it was the first song I sung in public.I was a very young girl and I was with my girls club away for a few days and we were having abit of a sing song...........hell was it so many years ago

Gill, I'm so upset about your situation with the dirty, little skite gurriers:-5 I can't believe that the cops won't do anything about it. You should live in my town. The cops will come and beat the gurriers without asking questions:wah: Beat them up now and then ask questions. Does your security camera take pictures of these blokes. Do you know why they're doing it? Are they singling you out for some reason or just picking homes randomly?
