Nice thread, AngelEyes :-6

* The Boston Red Sox play their Opening Day game in Japan on Tuesday morning at 6:07 a.m.!

* My back feels much better today than it did yesterday (I had to stay home from work because of the pain).

* I love my little household, which is made up of hubby, my cat Rusty, and THE BIG BOY Buster!

* Summer is closer to us than winter is :p

That is easy. I am looking forward to going back to work after this medical leave ends. I had thought it would be great just hanging around home. Now I can't wait to return to work. Not for another month though. But at least I can :driving: now.

Basically not getting some horrible disfiguring disease like a tumor on my skull that pushes and twists my face into an unrecognizable mutation. It would be great if that doesnt happen.

Otherwise Im looking forward to dinner.

Hi Cher:-6

Now I have fallen in love with Siesta Key. Don't know if you know the area. It is in Sarasota about 50m south of Tampa and 70m north of Fort Myers. I plan to live there one day.....fingers crossed, maybe in about 6 yrs. My family and friends meet there now. All ya gotta do is go to the beach, then to the pub for a cosmo and music, then back to the beach, then a restaurant, and then you collapse into bed and hafta do the same thing over again the next day.:wah:

Seriously, there's tons to do in the surrounding area...lovely place.

Anticipation is a major pleasure and a minor anxiety. To have something to look forward to makes the time seem a little less stressful. I don't look too far ahead in time. I look forward to small pleasures....being alone at home with my hubby, reading a good book, soaking in a hot tub, watching a favorite TV show, listening to smooth jazz on my radio while I'm driving, hitting the time clock at work when I am done there for the day...............stuff like that.:)

18 months, just 18 more months!!!!

Kathy, sounds great. But, that's quite a haul for you isn't it? Why there? Do you have family there or there abouts?

Ever been to Mexico Beach near Port St Joe? Great place! Or Gulf shores or Orange Beach in AL?

My vacation is during the end of April and I can't wait! Lawd, I need a stress break!:-5

Sarasota is probably the gulf coasts finest beaches. I have a few items around the house I picked up at St Armands Circle.

Theres a box maker there, you know, handcrafted walnut boxes, that kind of thing. Beautiful craftsmanship.

I'm looking forward to my daughter's graduation in May and the birth of a granddaughter in May.

I'm looking forward to the day when life becomes normal again, whenever that may be.

Oh, Kathy,. . . RETIREMENT, BABY!! If our legislature passes our new retirement, I'll get about 3% more than our plan now. They have a thing called the Drop Program that can net you lots of money if you stay in your job instead of retiring, but I'll be too young for that. :-1

Mexico Beach used to be very quaint and quiet. There were two hotels, one on the beach and one not. One restaurant that was open only part of the year. We would have to go to Port St Joe for most of our stuff. Then the hurricane came through and condos were built, restaurants, and shops. I still hear it's great but a little too crowded for me now. It's about 25 miles east of Panama City. There is a small island in the middle of the Gulf you can go to that is state owned, last I knew, so there were no buildings there, just nature.:-6

But if an abnormal person is saying this

What does it really mean??

Oh, Dudette, you slay me.:wah: You are so funny! And I am glad you're back! Did I hear someone say you haven't been feeling well? I'm glad you're better. Give Buster a kiss for me.

Seems a lot of us have anniversaries about this time. Mine is next month.
