PERKS OF BEING OVER 60

1. Kidnappers are not very interested in you.

2. In a hostage situation you are likely to be released first.

3. No one expects you to run--anywhere.

4. People call at 9 pm and ask, "Did I wake you???"

5. People no longer view you as a hypochondriac.

6. There is nothing left to learn the hard way.

7. Things you buy now won't wear out.

8 You can eat dinner at 4 pm.

9. You can live without sex but not your glasses.

10. You get into heated arguments about pension plans.

11. You no longer think of speed limits as challenge.

12. You quit trying to hold your stomach in no matter who walks into the room.

13. You sing along with elevator music.

14. Your eyes won't get much worse.

15. Your investment in health insurance is finally beginning to pay off.

16. Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the national weather service.

17. Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either.

18 Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size.

19. You can't remember who posted this list!

;) :sneaky:  :) :wah: :D

Well I can't speak for other areas, but I find that here the weather forecast tends to be nothing like what happens in truth, so you mind find that the weather won't be as bad as they say it will for you, I hope so!! :-6

Yeah that's true. Hopefully though even if the weather isn't too great, that all the others fellow market goe'rs will stay away because of the weather, so the traffic won't be so bad, and you will be able to get what you need and then head back home without too much hassle, which is just what you need if the weather starts to get worse.

Of course that does depend on the weather being nice to start with, so let's keep fingers crossed for you! :-6

Hi Ducks ! Hi everybody !

It's because people are perhaps off for a break, either that or filling the front page of Forum Garden with the blinkin WORD GAMES grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Guests will begin to think Forum Garden is a word game forum !!! :-5:-5:rolleyes:

Are the word games really :driving:you guys nuts? I know they do get boring if there are only two players so that's why I jump around all over the garden and or just get off line altogether. The pub is always rocking good time, but there is more to this site than the games, I agree.

I have blue eyes, husband has hazel eyes and one has the hazel w/the red hair. Nobody got my color and they all look like my husband who is always being told that he looks like Simon Cowell. At first he didn't know who the dude was, but I reassured him that "yes, you do look like him" so don't be offended dear, cause he really is nice on the eyes.
