I saw a fascinating programme last night on TV, about beautiful gardens in South Africa -- Cape Town, Johannesburg, the Drakensberg Mountains - amazing that Lillies were growing wild at the side of the road - rich folk pay a fortune for a bunch of those in the UK !! Are you any where near those places? South Africa is a very large country so it would be nice to be able to picture roughly where you are.

one of the FOC who shall remain nameless for the moment to spare her blushes... was gonna give me a photobucket tutorial ... but unfortunately she has other things on her mind so she hasn't "come to the party" so to speak ...

in any event i live on the east coast of south africa between cape town and durban ... lilies grow wild next to our roads too and the less fortunate people pick them early in the morning and sell them next to the road to make a bit of cash! most of them are protected wild flowers but that doesn't seem to faze them!

as you say south africa is a very large country ... the distance between cape town and durban is about 1500 kilometers so i haven't actually told you EXACTLY where i live when i said "between cape town and durban!"

i live about 1200 kilometers from johannesburg so if you are good at googling then you might be able to work out the name of my home city!

Hi Ducky !! No, I'm not -- I couldn't find any green ham hehehehehe. I think I shall get bangers and mash, sliced green beans (we've had too many baked beans already, and a government warning has just been issued hehehehe ) and gravy. Thanks Hope. It was more hectic than anything bad, but when you have a younger brother like I do, who just goes and does things out of the blue, things tend to get a little unpredictable, just have to adapt best we can I guess hehe.

That's a shame.

All I usually do is click the Insert image link - the strange yellow square with a mountain in it symbol, and then enter the URL from either a website or from Photobucket where I store my own pics, and then most times it will work.
