Look at it this way darling........at least she has saved you the trouble of having to take them to court for non-payment of services. If they cant even give you the grace of a phone call, then it shows their level of responsibility.

That happened to me most of the time when I sold insurance.

It is rude to not show up without canceling!!!

I couldn't agree more! We go through this kind of thing all the time with selling horses. When we have a prospective buyer coming to look at a particular horse or horses, we can spend half a day getting those horses ready to present. We may bathe, clip the horse if necessary, trim its hooves, and all the things which we think helps the horse to show well. We always have buyers make appointments so that we can be sure to have the horse(s) ready when they arrive. I can't tell you the number of "no-shows" we've had over the years. They don't bother with the courtesy of a phone call to let you know they'll be late, won't be coming, have changed their minds, nothing. It's extremely aggravating and a huge waste of our time. On their parts, it's nothing more than rude. I think I've learned over the years that most often other people don't consider your time valuable. The only consolation at day's end is that we now have a clean and spiffed up horse so I can take lots of nice pictures. ;)

It is just plain rude to not let some one know your a no show even your doctor. Here doctors and dentists can charge you a fee for a no show.

Well she never showed up. Don't you think that was really ignorant of her. She could have called. I just hate when people do that. You are expecting them and then they are a no show. Sorry just had to write it down.. But that is one of the things that aggravates the H*ll out of me! They have a phone and they have my number..obviously.. she or her husband could have called. Or if she wasn't interested anymore then why did she set up a meeting. Am I the only one that feels that this is wrong?

Too bad you can't get their Visa/MC number - and state a cancellation fee!

I know some insurance agences would bill for a missed appointment. Unfortunatly I never represented a company that would let me do that. Part of why the IRS fined them $500,000!!!!

My wife ordered sandwiches from a sandwich shop and I went to pick them up and they were not ready, I got slightly rough with my voice and asked them why.... they apologized not knowing what happened, but quickly made the sandwiches and I was on my way... about an hour later the sandwich shop called asking if I was going to pick up the sandwiches we ordered???????????

hehehehe

I had gone to the wrong location to pick up the sandwiches... there were two of them in our town. So I had to tell them what happened.

Ashamed at my error I called the other place and apologized to them, then went to the other sandwich shop and payed for and picked up the sandwiches. :-5

I bet they thought I was off my rocker!

But how were they, good at least? Were the sandwiches better from one place or the other, or about the same? :-2
