IDK - I just heard on the radio the other day, that people USE more electricity in the spring than the rest of the year during daylight savings. Yeah, duh, it's dark when we have to get up at the crack of dawn. :wah:

I would think that we use less energy in the spring and summer...at least I know our bill goes down...much more to do outside when its nice and warm!:-6

If your getting up in the dark for school/work you put the lights on. And as for summer, everybody cranks up the AC.

I agree, but I have an old heating system and it seems to cost more in the winter than in the summer....just sayin....:-6:)

I'm in a section of Arizona USA which does NOT change its clocks - so I'm lucky not to have to do that. Bizarre as it must seem, Arizona (although one state) has independent sovereign Native American nations which DO follow the time change. I have no idea why this discrepancy.
