Just typed out a joke for the humour thread.I used to tell it years ago when I did cabaret and thought I would put it here also:wah:

Geezer selling knickers down an East End Market

Sexy Knickers.....Sexy Knickers......only 10p a pair....

Woman finks......cor thats cheap.....I will get some

When she gets home and looks at them they were rubbish

Holes....no elastic....all in a right state

So she rushes back to the Market and there he is still shouting

Sexy Knickers....come on girls have the night of yer life only 10p a pair!!!

The woman makes her way through the group of people listening to him and says

Oi mate!!Ive just bought a dozen pair of those fings and Ive been done!

He looked at her.....smiled and shouted.......

Well at least she was diagnosed pretty quickly! when my granddad was told he had em,, he had to wait weeeks and weeks and weeks to get a scan to confirm thats what he had before they would do owt,,, he ended up waiting too long and eventualy died before they got round to doing the scan:mad:

Hope she is ok though, maybe they will let her fly home now they know what it is:-4

So I said that that joke was 'an old chestnut' meaning it was an old, much told joke.

Helen yes it was the picture of a conker, cos the conker comes from the horse chestnut tree ---------------------------- OK ??
