NAFTA-Gate: Those meddling kids!

Canada's moving up in the world of politics. Apparently there is a debate on whether or not a leak from the government interfered with Obama's standing in recent voting. :wah:

A likely story.

scoop

(more like scooby doo, if you're talking Canada)

I think this story is only a big deal in Canada.

Most Americans have no interest whatsoever in what happens here.

We just like the idea that we actually may get noticed by them.

The story was that Canada actually influenced your elections by leaking info on Obama's stance re NAFTA.

Personally, I'm unconvinced that we've got free trade with NAFTA. There seem to be an awful lot of rules to it for something with the word "free" and the softwood lumber debate didn't get resolved all that smoothly.

On the "Gate" part of NAFTA-Gate... oh what a scandal. You'll have to start your elections all over again now. LOL

My other thought on the matter is that it is Stephen Harper trying to impress his American Republican overlords by causing some grief for the Democratic contender; much like a mangy little cur will nip at the heels of passers-by to show loyalty to it's master.
