"Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars. Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, 'I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight', people would say, 'Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a damn word that comes out of his mouth.' " Michael Jackson

So the next phase of your life begins.

Be kind.

Be wise.

Be loving.

Work hard.

Be shrewd when you must.

Dont do anything that will hurt your soul.

And have fun.

WOW again Darren:-4

Life changes are great...you're making all the right decisions now. It's wonderful to have your own apartment....

Here's a few housewarming gifts for you...these are things that you'll really need. You know that you've become independent when you finally have to buy your own toilet paper:wah

a butler to clean up your mess....

Food Orders:

Opps...forgot the cat was in the bag....

Sounds like a great deal. I agree with Bryn Mawr, once you move out on your own, you never look back unless you lived with your parents, then you only go there to do your laundry and root through the fridge for goodies:wah:

Hopefully you have a good roommate - sometimes they can be a nightmare. I love my roommate these days, she's the best, but I've had bad ones in the past. Keep us updated about the new place.

A shared house/flat is one thing - I've done that several times, but a shared room is a step too far!
