What would you do if you didn't care about the outcome?

(Excluding murder, attacks, etc.)

Would you ask him/her out? Would you tell your boss where to go? Be creative...you don't care anymore!!!

The FIRST thing I would do, is tell my office mate that her breathing heavily drives me nuts.

I would also probably steal. :sneaky: Diamonds come to mind...just lots of pretty stuff.

I would hijack many modes of transportation and go see the world. I would live off of what I could steal. I would acquire all kinds of lovely things by stealing.

I would do anything in my power to have my neighbors removed far far away from me. Preferably another planet.

I would like to have my ex and his wife removed to similar planet living arrangements as the above mentioned.

Easy, i'd go rob a bank & steal just enough money to send my terminally ill couisin on a fantastic honeymoon ( she gets married tomorrow ) :-4

She'd like to go to Florida but no insurance company would insure her.

well I would have to check that out, guess it depends on what you want. You know there are some amazing fishing lodges around these here parts and north of me and in BC. That is a life long wish of mine to get to one of those. I shall go check some pricing out for you.

HA HA HA~ FR- I thought the same thing..we have accents? Wow! Minks I have been hanging in there - Back and forth a lot to the doc.. never to much time on here...Staying strong...Getting ready to have a homotherepy procedure done...my docs are freaking out--LOL They are going to put 35% hydrogen peroxide through my blood...it cured a guy that had terminal throat cancer here in town.. All I can do is try it..

I'd travel - and wouldn't pay for any of it. I'd see this wonderful world we live on - I'd give every starving person food - every homeless person a home - and make Saudi Arabia pay for it.

if i did not give a darn anymore, i would turn in my badge and go to England. i still may do that within the next 6 months. i raised my kids, did my job, had a heart attack six months ago today, so when does it become my turn? i appreciate all the altruistic posts here, and i have done my share....but the question is if we do not give a darn.

LC, Same as Far Rider said, life's too short not follow your heart! Since your kids assuming live in the USA, was it ever considered having Bothwell relocate? It's tough for a Mother to relocate and be "across the seas" form her kids. It's not like you could just drop by for a quick cake & coffee visit. Visiting a place while on vacation is never the same as when actually having to live there. They are really two different worlds. On vacation it's usually going out to eat most every night, sightseeing, sailing, diving, going to exciting places. While when actually "living" in a location, it's "working", cooking, washing the clothes, cleaning the house, daily around the house chores, etc. But I don't have to tell you about that your're a working Mom, and know first hand. :-2

Cars and FR, you are very wise. i love my kids, and they are a bit freaked that i will move to England, but i do have to follow my heart. Bothwell has two businesses to run, it is up to me to move there, he asked me to and i want to. my children can fly over to see me. and i can always get on a plane too. that heart attack scared me, and made me realize i have to find my place even for whatever time i have left. i waited many years to find my soulmate. i spent so many years being 'mom' and then dealing with street criminals. i just want some peace and quiet and LOVE. i am being selfish for once.

1. Go dive off the 110 foot cliff at Navajo Lake.

2. Tube the Animas River.

3. Mortgage my house and go find my old '69 Camaro and buy it back.

4. Show up at an ex-girlfriend's house and ask her out.

5. Sneak into a movie.

6. Buy 12 kegs of beer and invite the entire town to a party in the hills.

7. Go up to the airport and commandeer a plane for a joyride.

8. Sell my truck and go for a cruise.

Actually...all that stuff sounds like fun to me right now. I think I'll just do 'em anyway.

I would agree LC follow your heart I did and it is the best thing I ever did.

Your children are grown and have lives of their own you must live yours,

I left mine 3 years ago and no regrets. It was very hard at first with feeling a little homesick and so guilty as though I had abandoned them, but there is always the phone and like you said it is only a flight away.

I appreciate the time I have with the girls when they come here, it means I can spend a full 2 weeks of quality time with them instead of the odd half hour when they came for a quick visit to have coffee. My only regret is not seeing enough of my grandson but I spoil him rotten when I do.

Go for it, if it is what your heart wants.
