Ahahahaha crows scare the other birds. Brutes. Kind of the Avin bullies of the block. Pretty colors but not so pretty personalities.

yes a hawking black crow can truly make life miserable for the nice birds. bossy birds that are dirty too, they flock in groups. kill one and the others disappear.

Sheer Greed!
I've seen smaller birds pick on crows. They don't like them either.
Look what the cat dragged in.
Sheer Greed!
Crows out here are HUGE, they walk down the middle of the road.. I watch them all the time. They are bullies for sure. But when a MOCKINGBIRD start bird doggin them they get pissed. The mockingbird is relentless in there pestering of the CROWS, the fly with them side by side, the crows really don't like it but can't get rid of them.. THEY HAVE MET THEIR MATCH IN THE MOCKINGBIRDS HERE IN SAN DIEGO...

ALOHA!!

Hmmmm Crows/Ravens...........
Reminds me of when I was in the 8th grade (Eons ago)I stepped out our front door and heard......... from above the house....
HIII......HI Joe........HI.............
Scared the beejesus out of me.............It was a huge Raven
We had a extended overhang on our house so it was only about 7' high at the edge and he was looking down at me..
I stepped on out from under our porch and saw this big black bird ruffling up his feathers on the gutter (looked like a gorilla). He kept saying HI.....HI..... Joe.
I was home along and decided he was a lost pet and was going to catch him.
I forget how but I caught him and we kept him for about a year in a big cage we built.
He learned over 70 words while caged...
We decided to give him to another rancher we knew and all was well for about 2 years until they decided to release him from the cage....
He got outa hand. Anything shiny was in jeopardy. Keys in ignitions were coming up missing right and left, but they could not catch him.........
He would get in a car with the widow down and pull the keys out , then take them to his nest............
Not sure what happened but he just disapeard from site.......
Anyone else ever have a crow/raven that could talk?

They walk down the middle of the street here too, Carla. More accurately, they "strut" like a little street gang, acting like it's their turf, saying "Yeah, and wut you gonna do about it?"! All they need are little leather gang jackets!! :wah:
Sheer Greed!
And it's amazing how they've evolved to instantly recognize the

go for Taco Bell, McDonald's, KFC, you name it. Tear them up and toss
the contents all over, too.
Pretty funny.
