Well good news, Shaydens ultra sound was clear but he does have to have occupational therapy on his upper body then will be reviewed in 3 months:D

Lucy hasn't got much longer now.Im surprised shes hung on this long but we all know by now what a little fighter she is.I was up most of the night just watching her............is this sad sight really my Lucy..........oh why cant I just take her and do the right thing..........all I want her to do is go to her little doggy world in peace and with no stress getting there.Christ Im gonna miss her................

A lovely rose with petals soft

Awwww Carol, Shes hanging on for your sake babes, she knows how much you love her and how much you will miss her too. Try really hard, this really hard time to remember all your fun times together, the walks, the trips in the car, holidays, walking along the beach.........Lucy has had a fabulous life with the best mum she could of wished for..When she is ready she will leave this word one happy and contented doggy.:-4:-4:-4

Know how ya feel Carol, Our dog had a brain tumour, he ended up blind shakey wouldnt eat so I use to get syringe and force feed him, I didnt want him to go I loved him so much but his little body was suffering so much we had to take him to the vets. He is in our backyard now and is at peace in doggy heaven:-4

Thanks Girls for that.......good to know yer there.I try so hard to try to take my mind off things by being here when I can.I know I have 7 other dogs which of course mean so much to me....but my little lucy was a one off and she just loved me so much.I try not to get to upset but times likes this I just cant stop those tears.Just thinking about how she used to be and the love I feel for her.

i know my dog isnt ill but he's getting on a bit, middle aged for a springer, and every time he dosnt look right or seems off colour, the old imagination starts running riot and i cant even contemplate life without him, he's been my savior while i've been living here.

I was just thinking, Carol, you remember you said about mice running around under your floorboards upstairs ? I reckon it's not mice. I reckon it's all your dolls winding you up at night, playing 'tag', or 'hide and seek' !!! :yh_rotfl

Or perhaps it's your teddies chasing your dolls (can't think what for !!

) and they scramble under the floor boards to try to escape !

afternoon all,

well, got my date for this angiogram type blood test i've got to have, march

6th............ not looking forward to that at all, have been told i might have to stay in over night.

then got to wait about three weeks, phone for results then i should get my op date and im certainly not looking forward to that, thats for sure. im not a good patient........... last time i had it done, i was in theater for over 5hrs and its a bigger op this time.

oh well, once its done, its done i suppose.

Helen best of luck Mrs. It's always a worry having an op. I know, but they say it should solve a problem for you and that's got to be good news. I suppose you'll have to find somebody to look after Wally for both visits. Well I'm sure it will be OK and you'll be back raring to go once you've had everything done. Heaven's Doggy-Door

My best friend closed his eyes last night,

As his head was in my hand.

The Doctors said he was in pain,

And it was hard for him to stand.

The thoughts that scurried through my head,

As I cradled him in my arms.

Were of his younger, puppy years,

And Oh...his many charms.

Today, there was no gentle nudge

With an intense "I love you gaze",

Remembering our joy filled days.

But an Angel just appeared to me,

GOD also loves our canine friends,

HE's installed a 'doggy-door'!!!
