Found "not guilty" and being innocent are two very different things. I could puke.

This is sick. Then again, what do you expect? He's a celebrity!OJ Simpson's trial seemed to pave the way for celebrities to get off scott-free.

You could watch the drama unfold live on Court TV.

Although the judge banned the cameras from the courtroom itself for the reading of the verdict there was a live audio feed so the decisions on all 10 counts were heard as they were pronounced.

First it's a murderer (OJ) now it's a pedophile! Sad, very, sad...

Can any of 'you' say, that based on the evidence presented at this trial, you would feel a jury justified in convicting your son?Child molestation is very hard to prove. Out of necessity we have a high burden of proof in our justice system. Your point that Jackson is very weird begs the question, (I don't want to sound like there is any excuse for it, but) what did the parents expect allowing their boy to spend the night with him? Parents have some responsibility in protecting their children from "funny" adults who might abuse them.

I'm sure he has done some bad things to kids, but I wasn't convinced he did anything with 'this' particular kid. His parents have already gone through situations like this with other people, suing people/business's for various reasons. I was going to wait till it was all over, then buy the book lol (or maybe check it out at the library)
I probably posted that in an ambien trance-soryy

I guess what bothers me most is his sick "sleepover" fetish, and how sick the parents of these children are to allow them to stay over with him.

How many of us have a old MJ album buried in their "COLLECTION"

I see two from my kids. In the AM I am going to take outside and cremate both of them....... Any one else game?

Never had one of his albums, sure as hell don't plan on buying one in the future. Not a fan of his music, but I don't generally destroy or censor artistic works based on the personality defects of the artist - although in the case of a deviant like this, I could make an exception.

flopstock wrote: Ya know, if I had as big a hard on for Michael Jacksons ass, as this prosecutor has made evident he has- since viewing that interview of Jackson, I would have made damned sure I had the case before I charged him.

There have been no facts to support this case, from the get go! And yeah he's turned himself into a freak of nature, and yeah everyone is 'sure' he must have done it, after all he's been accused before and 'paid off.' Hmmm, go figure..the guy 'paid off', and didn't have to go through the hell he's gone through for the last year and 1/2.. yeah that's suspicious all right...the guy's 'paid off' before and didn't have his finances and reputation totally destroyed, by fighting and being found 'not guilty'.

What's really outrageous to me though is this 'but he's obviously guilty' out cry.

He's guilty of being a freak. He's guilty of letting himself get to this point in his life, where I really just want to put him out of his misery.

But folks, last time i looked , he's entitled to the same treatment as my son would be. Can any of 'you' say, that based on the evidence presented at this trial, you would feel a jury justified in convicting your son?

You're right on! That old fart prosecutor was just trying to go out in a blaze of glory before retiring! He went out in a blaze all right, "Shot-Down" big time!!!

MJ is obviously weird to mass majority standards, and he lives in his own child-like world! He is a boy in a mans body. Getting old is manditory, growing up is optional! :wah:

Own a MJ album.. freaking shoot me and put me out of my misery. I have never liked him or his music.. but I stray from the point.

First of all any parent that would allow thier child to spend anytime with this freak should have thier head examined. Sleeping in the same bed as the children.. no way. I would never allow my kid to do that.. it just opens the door to way to may possiblities.

Second.. as with most trials.. his lawyers did a wonderful job of blurring the facts.. by this I mean that they managed to get other evidence brought into court tha tshould not have been admitted... like past lawsuits that had been filed by the kids parents.. to me that is similar to allowing a rape victims sexual history to be allowed as evidence in court...

Thirdly.. money talks.. justice walks.. simple equation ... unfortunately..

sooo.. is he guilty.. prolly never know..we do know he is a rich freak that can do what he wants.. course he is in financial trouble.. his last couple of albums bombed in a large way.. so perhaps he will just fade into oblivion.. ohhhhh.. pleeeeze.. that would be the best...

Were any of us in his bedroom???? How do es anyone know what he did or didnt do?? There are many many people who feel that having children or adolescents in their bed is perfectly normal. And the percentage of undisclosed incestuous behavior going on in this country would blow your mind. The fault lies here with parents giving liscence to a stranger to have their children We are a society also obsessed with celebritys, They can do no wrong.. until they do something we suspect may be wrong. Like flopstock says. Yes the guy has major problems... but a lot of the persecution here is fueled by jealousy of what he has. And of course perhaps seeing the opportunity to get a piece. Ill dance to Thriller until the day I die.. Love his music. Ive never had a desire to see him in his pajamas or to be invited to spend the weekend at his home. " Familiarity breeds contempt"

im sorry but i dont believe his actions were innocent/didnt take place however you want to put it....

the guy has some wierd outlooks on life and danlging a baby over a balcony......... anyone else who did that would have social services in taking their child away....

im not entirely convinces at how strong the case was in terms of whether the family were doing it for money but i dont believe that in all the times hes had people stay over nothing wierd has happened.... plus there is the fact that even if nothing of an abusing nature happened the bloke is plain wierd and the kids being aroud him and growing up..... must have given them a different outlook on life.....

a guy like that who wasnt famous, just a normal lives next door to you would be completely ostricised....... how come so many people seem to worship him?? the scenes of everyone outside the court almost made it seem like a cult!!!
life is what you make it

my boyfriend just proposed to me (05/05/05) and im blissfully happy!! :-4 im engaged!! i have a fiance!! :-4

um..... well thats a bit out of date! im married now! and married life is the best thing in the entire world! with my husband by side my life is complete

He has enjoyed or did enjoy an almost cult like following for many years.. When people used to watch him grabbing his genitals on stage or in a video.. perhaps they should have turned off on him then. But no! at that time that though he was very entertaining and very well adjusted and very cool to express himself in that way publicly. Audiences embraced his sexually explicit actions and behaviors. Perhaps it gave him liscence to think he could do no wrong as there were so many people apparently not offended by his peter pan outlook and his neverland concept of life. They all walked into the tigers den so to speak with their eyes wide opened. Then it becomes oh we dont endorse your thinking on the advanced level.. You mean your outlooks arent a fantasy.. this is the way you really live??? We dont like it now. So we will simply destroy you.
