I wondered about the mane part of it, but she is basically using it as

a hand hold for her own balance, and some of it is calming the horse,

I think, not that the horse in this case seems to need it.



There are leg cues and weight shift cues, but even I have

a really hard time seeing them. That takes a TREMENDOUS amount

of time to do that. I have done reining in the past, but only using

real reins and I had never before seen this level. Most of the ones

I see at least have a strap around the horse's neck.

that is an amazing video Valerie. Horses are one of my favorite animals, they are so beautiful and intelligent. And the lady in the video is a very talented horseman or woman. I'd never seen riding like that before. :-4

Amazing how does she do that? Incredible for sure. I noticed the Horse constantly had its tongue in action out of its mouth the whole time like he was enjoying the whole thing and really thinking about what he/she was doing. :cool:

Oh okay, I needed warning for tissues for that...that was amazing to watch. What a gorgeous animal and she made that look very easy, when we all know better....great video, thanks for sharing!
