Hello to everyone,busy day today.

Our grandson raised the Australian Flag this morning,he looked so handsome in his cadet uniform.Had a great lump in my throat.:-4

He also came 2nd overall in the triathalon

Our grandaughter is not a sport person but she had a go & that made me just as proud:-4:-6

sorry i've not been on that much but i've been getting my fix of the arcade and other bits and bobs so have given myself one hell of a migrain.

weathers pretty good here though a bit nippy but i can do dry and cold, thats how i like it.

hands still a bit sore, will see how it is after work.

HI:D Im not stopping long cos im going out to lunch with a friend:D I met her about 2 years ago through the internet, and we found out we live quite close to each other, i could walk to her house in about 15 mins actually lol. Anyway its been a while since we met up so i dont expect to be back before teatime;) Its still very windy here, warnings on the radio this morning for drivers to beware, and apparently some damage was done through the night as well.

actually the hand is quite a bit better now, as for the dog, as soon as he got out this morning, the sorely foot was soon forgotton:rolleyes:

i cant get over what a smashing day we've got here, got washing on the line, windows open and its nice to see people with smiles on their faces instead of being hunched under umbrellas !!

i used to work at the hotel in the piccy.

A bloke goes into the Job Centre in Newcastle and sees a card advertising for a Gynaecologist's Assistant.

Interested he goes to learn more. 'Can you give me some more details about this?' he asks the guy behind the desk.

The Job Centre guy sifts through his files and replies, 'Uh - yes here it is... OK, the job entails you getting patients ready for the gynaecologist.

You have to help them out of their underwear, lie them down and wash their nether regions.

Then rub in soothing oils so they're ready for the gynaecologist's examination.

There's an annual salary of £45,000 but I'm afraid you'll have to go to Oxford.'

Good morning all. Looks like we are in for another hot sunny day. Got the lawns mowed yesterday, they were so long after us being away for 2 weeks, hope to get the edges done today.

Invited my daughter and new granddaughter over for a baked lunch today so will take some pics of her and try and work out how to put them on this thread

I was meant to work today but was sick in the night (made a bleedin pig of meself last night didnt I:mad:)and I got so cold yesterday I thought............bol.......na to much of a lady to say it:wah:So Im going back to my East End later..........all this talking about it lately has made me abit home sick.......so me and Chris are going back to our roots.And being a Sunday we dont have to pay that £8 charge just to be able to get into London fgs.....that Ken Livingstone grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....he really dont like motorists just cause he dont drive:-5.....:-5 anyway before this becomes a discussion about drivers and cars and goes into World War 4.....I say 4 cause 3 was on another thread:wah::rolleyes:
