Cesar Milan dog Whisperer

I love the fact this guy had a " gift" as a child whereby he could be accepted as pack leader amongst large groups of dogs in his rural setting in Brazil I think it was and would " hang" with them seeming to naturally attract them as he went for walks or runs.. Now he attempts to educate people in the U.S. who contact him about troubled dogs exhibiting strange behaviour on how to design their dog's lifestyle to, as he puts it, let them be " dogs not humans". I keep relating his wisdom to people though. When he introduced the rescued dog from Hurricane Katrina into his own pack compound and comented how his tail went up to show his desire to dominate after graded entry into the compound to prevent this from happening I could so relate it to my work setting! Isn't it just so how in life there are people who when they come into a group change the dynamics? I could wish there were facilities like his for stressed out people. Allowing for T.V. editing he really seemed to change dog behaviour remarkably and pretty rapidly. It was great the authority he could transmit without yelling, or displaying much emotion.

He is often having to remind the women he accompanies when they walk their dogs to stand tall and ease back their shoulders to appear in control of things. Interesting.

I don't know about that guy. He seemed like a good deal at first but there were some issues about behind the scenes dog abuse and I haven't trusted him since. I've never put much store in dog trainers because I've never seen one yet that didn't have serious issues themself that didn't get transferred onto the dog in some manner. All the ones I've dealt with have been total loser flakes.

Ah, that's disappointing. As I viewed clips and such I did wonder if I should also trawl around and dig about for the whole picture as it were. I guess I shall HAVE to do that now. Hard to find a " hero" when you grow up or go on in life! Still, thinking about MY short comings, I shall still treasure the stuff I've enjoyed from his shows.

Hmm people will either like & trust him or not. I like him. Are his dvd's available in uk format?

So far i have only been able to find American format.

Good to see you girl. I had a look at his website but its a nightmare as you have to put in your state & zip code before you can get through to even ask if the dvd's are available in uk format. Not having a state or zip means i cant get through

Had a look on e-bay but no luck they are all American format.

:-5 I just sent them an email - it then came back immediately with reply which said to call a number, which I did and it says its been disconnected. I know he was in the process of changing locations - but you would of thought his number would of been up-to-date :-5
