Hi Carol and the rest of the FOC'ers

Soz you had a boring day Carolly babes, im back in work now so not on during the day.

Some words from me to you babes x

I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts,

or fears. But I can listen to you, and together we will

search for answers.

I can't change your past with all it's heartache and pain,

nor the future with its untold stories.

But I can be there now when you need me to care.

I can't keep your feet from stumbling.

I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.

Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine;

Yet I can share in your laughter.

Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge;

I can only support you, encourage you,

and help you when you ask.

I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship,

from your values, from me.

I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.

I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you,

But I can give you the room to change, room to grow,

room to be yourself.

I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,

But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces

and put them back in place.

I can't tell you who you are.

I can only love you and be your friend.

Well then, welcome to the States Donna:-6. You moved to a beautiful area, but boy, what do you think about all the snow Boston gets:wah: I live in New Jersey, right on the snow line, usually, of all the big snow falls and am still amazed at all the snow Pennsylvania, NY and New England get. We usually get the rain.

I love Dublin and spent quite a bit of time there with my rellys. My Dad's only brother, Jim, lived on Seville Place, on the North Circular Road near Amien St. Station. We spent quite a bit of time in Molloy's pub on Talbot St. Do you know that area....such fond memories for me:-4 I still take a walk down that area when I visit.

English-speaking countries world-wide use the word "whelk" to refer to various kinds of large (often edible) sea snails, but it is important to note that even though the same or similar common names are used for all of these sea snails, the various different kinds of snail are often not at all closely related to one another. Some of these gastropods are so distantly related that they are not even in the same superorder as others.;):wah::-6

Took me awhile before I decided to reply to this post, you brought back a few memories for me as well. Nothing quite as bad as your experience though.

Best to just try to get on with things the only way we know how to deal with them.

When faced with certain things I think we all have that extra bit of toughness that helps us get through

Hiya Carolly...good to be here:-6

A lot depends on the board that comes up in Crashdown...sometimes the colours are all over the place and your score is rubbish because you can't get blocks of colour together and rapidly increase your score. At other times, it's much easier because one colour is predominant. I mean, I would like to say how skillful I am, but that's just not the case at all :-5

Hi Kath and everyone else,

kATH I LOVE THE SNOW in fact we spent Christmas skiing in Canada, i'm not Olympic standard but i'm good .......... lol.

I have been in Molloys many time their Guiness is supposed to be the best in Dublin. My favourite bar is Cassidys it has live music and the food is fantastic it isn't far from Molloys just over O'Connell Bridge.

I'm feeling a little homesick now, i didn't realise i was missing home and my friends so much after writing all that so' think i'm going to have a litle weep now, sorry Kath. :-1

What comment would that be Carol pet?

Going back to my message to Kath, i do love it here in Boston it's a beautiful place, but there is no place like home and we will be going back in the summer for a holiday to catch up with my lovely Mummy and all my friends and family, and of course to make sure the Guiness tastes the same.

Now i must start getting ready for work.

Hello everybody !

Carol, enjoy your auction viewing, and I hope you got my PM from last night. I hope you are feeling a little better today Mrs. Posh. It doesn't help that the weather is so grey and miserable - I think we're all suffering from SAD on top of other things in our lives. xxx

Pinkchick - Rosie, you must be getting withdrawal symptoms with no internet at home at the moment, I do hope you can get it sorted out soon xxx

Chezzie, those were lovely words, and what a lovely thought to send them to Carol, she does seem a bit down at the moment, and words are all we've got to help somebody. But sometimes, words can make a real difference, when they come from the heart. xxx

Hi MrsK, hope you are still making good progress, and Kathy Ellen - sounds like you and Donna have a lot in common ! xxx

Jimbo, nice to see you matey ! Hope things are OK in your neck of the woods :-6

Theia - lovely to see you, please pop in again ! xxx

Donna - I'm not surprised you get homesick from time to time. My hubby has been to Dublin and he says it is a lovely place. It certainly looks it from the photos I have seen. xxx

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday, circumstances conspired against me. Something triggered a knock-on effect. Just one of those things that happens to me from time to time, but we try to bounce back.

TA DAAAAAAAAA

IM BACK!! wow so many posts to read even though i caught up a bit while i was away:cool: Anyway i had a great week in Tenerife, the weather was lovely and warm even thoug we got a couple of cloudy days, it was still warm enough for just a t shirt and shorts:D Our apartments were ok very clean, although we asked to be moved from where they put us at first cos we didnt really like the location, they moved us no problem tho so that was ok. Had some lovely meals and a few good laughs, met up with some nice irish and scottish people too:)

Glad to see everyone still popping in here, i dunno when Kay is due back though:-3 And Jesse!! nice to see you back mate!

Sorry this is more or less just a general post but there are just too many to reply to giving the fact that im a lazy cow as well its nigh on impossible:wah:

Take care u lot and i will be back soonxxxxxxxxxxxxxxKaz.

Oh Carol, my heart goes out to you love. I shall be around if you need my shoulder or my ear.

What an awful start to 2008 you've had.

I'm sure all your friends on this thread and in FG will be thinking of you, and hoping your little Lucy goes with no pain and in her deep sleep.

Bless you both

Carol I found the arcade a distraction for me yesterday. I hope you find it a distraction tonight for you love. I will go to bed when I decide Mrs. But I will be around for about another half hour, in case you need an ear. I've got msn on. XXX
