Things do get better with time, Lemon. I thought I would never get over my husband's illness, how he would never be the same again. It is like another lifetime, and now I count the days in a different manner. We used to go out all the time, have so much fun, all the things married couples do. But, then he became ill. Priorities changed, the past would have to be the past. There was no way to step back in time, and cross that barrier again. I count the days he is here, and he gets better daily. He even has come to the realization he will never be able to speak correctly, and say what is there within his mind. And I will never hear my name spoken again by him, because he cannot do it, or is not certain who I am. I think I do not complain so much about it, because I have finally dealt with it. But it took me a long time to do it, he has been ill 3 1/2 years now.

You cannot go back and change the things within the past. You are such a bright and fun person, you will learn to place those things you feel into a special spot within your heart and mind. You can visit them, when you feel up to it. But you have many things ahead to look forward to, you are young. Your whole life is ahead. And on your birthday, think of something special to do for yourself-because you are special, and deserve it. Life can be better, and you will see one day when you look back upon it.

It is all said with great respect for you, forgive my long post.:-4
