For sports fans, in general, the most significant thing that happened yesterday wasn't on the field, court or ice. It happened in an announcement that the Patriots-Giants game on Saturday will be available on network television.
Previously scheduled to be shown exclusively on NFL Network, what has become an historic sports event as New England goes for a perfect regular season will be simulcast on two familiar networks, CBS and NBC.

Wow. That's more than the Dallas Cowboys were able to do.
......
I guess the Cowboys game was considered more profitable.

Penn State is on at the same time......
That's what will be on in this house.
But it is an accomplishment for the Patriots.

Well its looking good for the Giants right now!
But there's alotta football left to play.

The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

This is, quite literally, the only football game that I have watched this year.
Not a bad game.
No - that doesn't mean I will be tuning in to football games on a more regular basis.

So that was the final? We watched Suze Orman and the Flavor Flav roast instead.

Good game the Giants played well except for the Interception. Was worth watching.
