Did anyone happen to catch this show on CBS tonight? It was made by Jules and Gedeon Naudet French filmmakers. Here's a quick summery from the CBS page.

IN GOD'S NAME, a primetime special produced in association with the acclaimed French filmmakers Jules and Gedeon Naudet, will explore the complex questions of our time through the intimate thoughts and beliefs of 12 of the world's most influential spiritual leaders. These diverse and powerful voices offer provocative, compelling and enlightening perspective on myriad issues in our post-9/11 world, including the rise of terrorism, fanaticism, intolerance and war. The special will be broadcast Sunday, December 23 at 9pm et/pt.

I found the show intriguing, and educational.

It doesn't seem to be very fairly representative of all faiths.

I didn't happen to see a Jew or a pagan for instance. I guess that bothers me considering the title of the show. Like "whose God?" That's all. If I'd known of it, I might have watched it anyway.

Um yes there is a Jew listed. No no pagens were on the show, but one I don't see why there should of been. And secondly I don't think Pagenism is a "organized religion" in that it has millions of members around the world who worship the exact same thing. It's more of a personal religion.

Thanks for the link, I'm glad to know that. I feel much better! :D

Well, if you're going to put on a show about God and feature various faiths, I think it would be good to include as many as possible and not just the usual as if those are all that matters.

As for paganism, the basic tenets are the same throughout. Paganism is a worldwide religion with many subreligions (what you'd probably term denominations) and is even recognized by the US military as an official religion.

I'm not here to ruin your thread! You liked the show, that's good. I was just disappointed to see a lineup without a pagan representative. It has nothing to do with your thread. :)

Well I think the Japanese Shinto counts as Pagan. They worship both gods and goddesses.
