Ricky Gervais, Politics.

Did anybody catch this last week?

This man is brilliant, an excellent stand-up story-teller!

Just by way of an example, (STOP READING NOW IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED. THIS IS OFFENSIVE!) he told the story of a man who went to hospital with a bottle of sauce stuck up his backside; so far up that he couldn`t extricate it himself. He told the hospital, "I returned home with my shopping to find the front door locked and couldn`t find my keys. I climbed up a ladder to get into an open bedroom window, but snagged my belt as I was climbing up. This accidentally tore my trousers and pants down (= "pants and underpants" for American readers!) and I lost my balance, falling onto my shopping bag which I`d left next to the ladder, and a bottle of sauce went right up my backside and stuck there.

Then he said, the hospital staff would have believed this story, if the bottle of sauce hadn`t been found to have a condom on it!!! :wah: :wah:

I did watch it John, and laughed all the way through it.

A very talented, extremly funny guy.

The American version of The Office surely could'nt be anywhere near as good with him not playing David Brent!
