Especially All The Cute Ladies

Put your hands on your heart and tell me ¦ in all my posts or in my pms ¦ did I EVER once say anything that offended you in any way at all? Did I EVER say anything rude, lewd or offensive? I wrote you poetry ¦ I posted great well written short stories and articles ¦ I made you laugh ¦ I entertained you ¦ I flirted with you and by the number of e-mails I got every day, many of you sure as hell enjoyed it! The honest answer to my question is a resounding NO!

Yet some members of your Forum do not want me around. What are they afraid of?

Could it be because whenever I have started a Thread it gets more hits per day than their combined efforts? Makes you think doesn’t it?

Access to your garden is being controlled by a triumvirate and you need to take back the Forum that you and not they keep alive.

One of the trio is highly intelligent ¦ one is very bitter and vindictive and one is very lonely and very gullible.

If you fish around you may spot these kroanies.

Never fear ¦ I will be back ¦ in fact I may have already flown under the radar and already be among you! Isn’t that exciting ladies?????

Love you all!

If you had come back as yourself there would have been no problem.

Coming back as a woman, then as a young man with a sob story to attract the sympathy of ladies and now... we've been watching your new account but have yet to see the next lie.

We don't have a problem with you, we have a problem with liars.

I was doing the same things you say you did; a long while before you were, and I have had no problems. It leads me to believe that there is more to it than you are saying. I don't know what happened; I enjoyed your stories, and I welcomed another writer on the forum. That being said they way in which you have handled this seems to be out of line.

In summary if I can post the stories I do, flirt like I do, and be as opinionated as I am with out being ushered away then any one can as long as they follow the rules.

Stop being so bitter and vindictive.

Floppy, we're having a slight argument with a deskbound sextagenarian who gets his jollies telling forum users he's in his thirties or female depending on what part of the week it is, he's Elizabeth or Lorraine one day and Jim the next. He also finds it hard to take hints. If you see any posts from Cycas that's him as well.

Who the hell cares..............what you did not get is that we love your consternation. We really like the arguement. No offense was ever meant. You met everyone with an opinion that made everyone think - good or bad thoughts - WooHoo.

I would never come here if I could not disagree and agree with different people. GET OVER IT OR YOU WILL GO BY THE WAYSIDE AS SOME OF OUR OLDER - MOST LOVED - members have. That would be very sad.

One question?

Why did you suddenly disappear as JJ?

One moment you were there and posting and the next, with no apparent grief from anywhere, you stopped posting and Kittypaws started with the trolling.

What made you think you were not wanted?

E-mail me if you prefer.

You are an excellent story teller and it seems you had a more than willing audience, but here lies the problem, FG is like a family, we don't always get along but the underpinning of the place is trust and friendship, I wouldn't expect people to lie (although I know some do!) and I wouldn't make up stories and different user ID's to dupe people, you end up losing respect and friendships.

To be honest all that 'love ya' business, may have worked for some folks, maybe even your PM's rocked their world, but personally for me after the PM you sent me, I just thought you was a sex mad pervert :wah:

I thought when I opened this thread you was going to say sorry for lying and fooling your 'friends' here:thinking:

You know what though, that is just so dishonest. I could technically join as multiple members with different names and have a full blown argument with myself, but the hell is the point of that?

As someone that gets accused of being behind any new membership that's 'questionable' I can explain some reasons behind multiple accounts.

One of my earlier ones was "Hot and Sexy for Nomad", I used a chimp as my avatar and I'd come in and say ridiculous things to embarrass... tada!... Nomad.

Another one was created at Christmas time several years ago called "The Ghost of Christmas Past" and I'd play around with Santa and 'haunt' members.

So you can't really say that having multiple accounts is dishonest (well, I guess you can, but that isn't always the case IMO). Personally I think it's kind of funny unless the person continues to rejoin after being banned simply to harass a member which one of our members named BabyRider experienced... luckily the person responsible for that was pretty easy to spot even without the aid of IP address visibility.

So, just a word from one of the nutters that has had multiple accounts in the past... think of it as a joke. It's really not that big of a deal unless the person's causing problems... which this JJ doesn't appear to be doing, from what I can observe.

I must be honest...JJ did nothing for me....I never got a pm from him and he only responded to me one time.....and more honesty....I thought he was another person that shows up on forums under different names to harrass a certain fish friend of mine....so I steered clear of him. I am thankful Spot, Koan and Guppy...the twisted trio that they are that they spotted him and said something....I just don't have time for liars....and I hate to see them manipulate my friends too.

I don't get how a person can join a forum as different people.Surely their IP address will show on membership application????

Horses for courses as they say,but I think that is a realy strange thing to do.If someone has a problem with another member,it should be sorted privately. If they cannot sort it,then they should just ignore each other or leave the forum.

To my mind a forum is a place to exchange opinions and have some relaxing fun,not an ego seeking battleground. Still I am not effected as I did not know the person in question.

I'm not crazy about liars either, but I think multiple accounts is more like a costume party.:o

We had a well liked member in here when I first joined that had some really good stories he was trying to pass off as fact, which drove me a little crazy. If they had been presented as merely fiction, that would be fine and dandy, but the guy had to present himself as some kind of super hero, with obvious inconsistencies, ie being a descendent of Abraham Lincoln in one story and then being adopted and yearning to find out who his birth parents were. It even got to the point where he'd take photos (with digital ID imprinted on them, no less!) and claim they were his... for example, a kitten photo from a well known online source. Couldn't the guy just take a real photo of his cat and post it? If he even had a cat?

A lot of people really enjoyed this man's stories and complained loudly and bitterly when the truth was insisted upon (by me, unfortunately) and said they didn't care if they were true or not.

*sigh* Sorry for the long post, but the point I'm trying to make is, I guess, different strokes for different folks, if I may be allowed to use a very old expression from my youth. One person's lies are another person's entertaining stories. It's taken me a while to see that.

Who knows, there may even be sites where you have to be proposed and seconded just to apply. ForumGarden has an open door. It makes all the freaky people visible to the membership which is, I suppose, fun.

The moderator discussion areas form the collective memory of the site's management, very little which appears there becomes more visible but it keeps a few of us abreast of why some things happen. Threads like this add to the decision-making. I think it's better than bolting the door and getting people to knock before they can come in.

In this case, some person didn't take 'No' in reply to sexual advances, insisted that the woman was secretly attracted to him, started extending the fiction to claim that another member had been discussing said object of unwanted attention behind her back, attempted to pit two friends against each other and, when confronted by the two about the lies and harassment, threw himself on his back, arms flailing and claimed he'd been assaulted.

Ever seen someone take a fall but dive too early? It's kind of ridiculous to watch.

Anyone who wishes to PM with our woe begotten multiple personality is likely in for some entertaining fiction. Just make sure you don't mention the word "Georgia" if you choose to reply.

Yo put the entire thread in context, the most that Catherine has as a complaint against me is a single post in which I mocked his behaviour. No closed accounts, no banning, no literary criticism, just one insult and a quote from Julius Caesar.
