Hi. I want to say a big thank you to all the people who have messaged and emailed me recently. I've gotten a ton of them and they are all very much appreciated. You guys are very kind to a glittery girl.

I want to let you know I'm not going anywhere, you're pretty much stuck with me. And I promise to continue posting all the stuff I usually do. For those of you who like my posts I thank you and for those of you who don't, maybe you'll be surprised one day. And if you really hate them, well, go jump in a lake!

Thank you again for all the messages and your kindness.

Hi Red, sorry I didnt pm or email and I would of if I had any idea of why you would post a "im not going anywhere thread"....

Dont know what its all about but im glad your not going anywhere as your posts was one of the reasons I kept lurking here and finally joining.

Sometimes you post something im not interested by etc and so I just go on to the next post, as im sure loads and loads of peeps do to my posts.

A forum is only as good as its members and their posts.

What floats one persons boat will sink anothers...........Horses for courses....

I love nearly all of your posts and the ones I dont reply to are prolly a little over my head lol

Hi RG,

Oh, my! Never imagined anyone would have problems with what you post. To me you never attack others, and truly you have just stated your own opinions when relevant, and you are almost always relevant and trying to engage in a discussion. Who could find a problem with that?

I have learned a lot from you too. Not all the topics you post are my thing, but then I don't bother with a lot of the topics here I'm not interested in. Helps me narrow my options a bit, probably true for many members. In other words, if someone has probs with you then they should go somewhere else--it's their problem, not yours.

I am sorry you feel like you have been victimized...how and why is beyond me..even though you have flat out told me i ceased being your friend along time ago..and you could care less what i think..and would prefer i step down as a mod..since you think i do a lousy job at my little job as you so well put it...

i have no grudges against you..even though you will play it that way..you are good at that..

this board is an open adult board..for discussion..and we all have the right to discuss what we will..even me..

I am deeply sorry that you decided to end your friendship with me because i would not end my friendship with others when you decided you did not like them anymore..i am not a child like that..

I don't get the purpose of these kinds of threads.. never have, never will. If everything is being said in emails and messages why can't a person simply reply in emails and messages?

If you don't plan to leave why does someone feel compelled to announce they are staying? Doesn't posting pretty much negate the need for an announcement?

Don't get me wrong here. I'm pleased as punch that Red is not leaving. I like most of the stuff she finds and shares with us. If I don't like something I simply move onto the next:-6

Well, I had a total of about 32 messages and emails during this incident and it was just easier for me to answer them all once instead of individually. Call me lazy. :rolleyes: And thanks- I'm happy you seem to like a lot of my posts. I try.

I missed all that, and don't even know what all that was. I think you do a sterling service for FG, Red Glitter. You gather bits and pieces from all over the place and post them all. Sure, the volume can at times be offputting, but the alternative is probably going to be a sluggish or inert forum. Some of these posts fade away but many strike a chord with enough gardneners to get quite lively. I hope management is aware of the hard work you do. Ask them to pay you. Well !! And don't stop.

Some people are perpetual victims, that is all. They need attention, whatever way they may get it. Be it posting and posting and posting to become the world's best forum user, or another way. Victims are victims. And they cannot change. I feel that for a person to end a frienship because she didnt like another's friends is extremely childish to say the least. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

No offense intended here, but if you opt to use me to attempt to batter someone else here, it would show more 'balls' if you did it under your regular user name. Throwing darts from the shadows is really the cowards way, don't you agree?

My question was not directed so much towards the OP as the thread type in general that folks seem to start from time to time. This just happened to be the time I was around to ask it.

It is a shame that Itchy does not have the balls to actually admit who SHE (
