HI everyone

I am a member here but haven't been on for quite awhile. My name is Kelly and I am 27 and have been married now for a little over 2 years. I have 2 sons: Austin who is 7 and Gabriel who is 15 months. I have recently become a stay at home mom and i have to say as much as I love it at times(like all day today) it is soooooooooo boring. My husband, wonderful as he is, works 3rd shift so although he is here all day he is asleep. I'm not the best at talking about myself so I'll just say how nice it is to meet you all and I hope to be making plenty of friends. And I hope nobody minds if I vent from time to time? There is only so much conversation my baby is capable of. Usually it consists of MOMMY,MOMMY all day long.

Hi Angeleyes,

Welcome back to the Garden. It must be so hard staying home with kids and no other adult around to talk with sometimes. Have you tried having some play dates with other moms in the neighborhood. This way you can socialize your children and have some adult time also.

Hi angeleyes,

Good to have you on forum garden. I've felt most of the people here are genuine and caring and hope you find the same. Sometimes the anonymity of the virtual world can make people behave rather poorly (offensive), me included. Don't be scared away.

There are some great, meaningful discussions that crop up frequently, which will be a welcomed relief from the incessant kid talk (not that kids aren't wonderful diversions themselves :-4). Well hope you know what I mean.
