Plans for thanksgiving?

Post by RedGlitter »

We haven't decided yet. Thanksgiving is not one of my better holidays. If friends ask us over we'll go there, or we may go out for Mexican food or we may just blow the whole thing off this year.

I go to my parents house...it is a great time. They have a huge house and my mom goes all out w/ everything...i grew up there and our house was the place where all family gathered and then all others we love who no longer have places to go...so now i am married w/ my own family and many families have joined together over the years as they call my family "family"....In all we have around 50-60 people every year...my husband plays the piano, the bar is in full swing...oh yes I love Thanksgiving!!!

I'll be cooking for my two sons and their wives, my sister and brother and law and my husband and self. I'll cook, the guys will watch football, we'll stuff ourselves and then play a mean game of cards.

I'd like to lock myself in my bedroom but instead I'll cook dinner for hubby and the kids. The following Sunday, we'll have Thanksgiving at my niece's. It'll be a tough one, but we'll get through it as a family.
