Yup e is an idiot. I always thought he was an idiot now he has gone and proven it. He called his son's girlfriend who is black the "N" word a number of times and told his son he didn't want a "N" in the family to break up with her.

I'm just grateful that his eyesore of a television show is off the air.
Like the comedian I heard on the radio say:" Why is Dog,The Bounty Hunter on the Arts & Entertainment network, when it's neither?"

I admit it im the person that has actually watched this show and enjoyed...go on slaight me now lol....I like the way they talk all tough till they catch the guy then end up giving them cigarettes, getting rid of their drugs for them and being their best mate by the end of the car ride...lol kind of reminds me of the way our government are towards criminals too.
Blessed be.

I think they're wrong in raking Chapman over the coals for what was a PRIVATE convo between him and his kid. It was never meant for TV. I don't think what he said was cool, but I'll stand up for his right to hold a noxious opinion like this because I think PC is out of hand.
Dog Bounty Hunter
yeah, it's definitely wrong that a private conversation was made public but he is a dumba$$ for refering to his sons girlfriend that way.

Sure he is! And we probably all know it. But I side with Voltaire on this one;
something about "disagreeing with what you say but defending to the death your right to say it." I think its a scary thing when we start controlling how people speak, even if they're wrong or obnoxious. That's my opinion.

I never could understand the appeal of his show. It has the same degree of class and interest as "The Jerry Springer Show", and obviously appeals to Brain Dead Folk.

No one is controlling him. He can continue to say whatever he pleases. The problem lies in the fact that the public opinion on the matter is that he shouldn't be degrading in that way. When you go against public opinion and you are in the eye of the public don't be surprised when the public turns on you.

I understand what you're saying there, YZ, but I think the general public has been so brainwashed by political correctness that they don't realize what's happening. They don't think beyond it anymore. I am not in any way agreeing with what Dog said, but as much as I hate that opinion of his, I feel a need to defend his right to have it. Just like I abhor the KKK and their rubbish but I still think they have a right to say it, as I have a right to call them sheet-wearing morons.

:wah: All of it actually. Those people are ignorant and rabid- a dangerous combination. Rarely have I ever seen such hate. And no, the silly hats don't really help. If you're going to have an opinion like that and do terrible things, have the guts to show your face so we can see who you are. No, I loathe those awful people.

I was very shocked by what Dog said and don't approve of racism or using that word. But, having said that, I still love watching Dog and his family and will continue to do so if they put his show back on.

Never liked the show, and glad it is off the the TV Lineup. What he said was down right disgusting - on or off the air.

I agree. PC is totally out of hand. You all should know what the largely Indian and Spanish population at the high school call ME.

I lived in the North Valley of Albuquerque for 14 years. My name is Vanessa. It was Nvalleyvee but my friends at FG shortened it to Nval or NV. Now I'm Nvalley. It's how a name goes over many years.

They call me "Miss" - short for an unmarried woman - LOL. Now isn't that the dangest thing in the world. I have absolutely NO idea why they call me that. The little kids K-5 call me "Miss R".
It's nice to meet you too.

Vanessa,
That is so nice... I think it's a cultural feeling .....showing respect for you by calling you Miss.....
What grade do you teach? I teach the 3rd graders now but have always taught the 6th to the 8th grade.

I substitute teach. The High Schoolers call me Miss. The K-5 call me Miss R. I love the K-5 kids. There are 5 elementary schools in our district and I usually do the special ed kids. I don't know why I'm drawn to them but I assume it is because it is usually one-on-one with the higher functioning kids and I get such a kick out of the look on their face when they accomplish a lesson.

Special Ed kids rock.....I teach a regular ed 3rd grade with 4 mainstreamed sp ed kids. I'm drawn to these kids also because they are so cute, funny and loving. They appreciate all that you do for them.
Good luck with your assignments.....Do you want to become a full time teacher?

Full time teaching is not in the cards for this semi-retired woman. I have worked full time for 36 years and becuase I made good investments............I'm DONE. I am SOOOOO done with working full time. I do have to admit that I have a tiny problem with BOREDOM these days.

I find it strange that the term Miss has anything to do with being pc over there...Im a Teaching Assistant and our kids are taught to refer to teachers (and their assistants) as either Miss if they are unmarried or Mrs if they are.
Do they normally call teachers by their first names then?
It is considered quite cheeky here. lol

Hi Vampress, Nice to meet ya.
I just meant that children in the USA call their female teachers Miss, Ms. or Mrs. plus her last name. But in some foreign countries the children call their teacher only by Miss or Mrs. or Madam and do not include her last name. Children do not call their teacher by their first name in my area.
