Here is a couple of philosophy questions.
What is the most compelling argument (in your view) purporting to prove God's existence? What is the most suspect premise? Do you think the argument ultimately succeeds?
what is the mind/body problem? do you think functionalism solves it?
What is ethnophilosophy?
What is Aristotle's theory of causes? what advantage does it offer, and what disadvantage does it face?
What is Aristotle's view of the soul? How does it differ from Plato's?

Good questions, well worth some time considering.
I don't believe that God's existence is either provable or disprovable by logic or by science. One can have faith in his existence or believe fervently that she does not but it is beyond ultimate proof.
The Mind / Body problem - basically, does the soul exist. Is there anything beyond the physical processes within the body that makes up the person and their thoughts. If not then you can create an AI indistinguishable from man - one that would pass the Turing test. I fear that the Spirit of the Chat Room has a long way to go yet and I for one will not be holding my breath waiting for it to happen.
Ethnophilosophy is the West finally recognising that it does not have a monopoly on the truth and that it's about time it looked at other viewpoints - I'm all for it, it's well overdue and marks the beginning of the West's growing up.
Sadly, I've never managed to get into Aristotle's philosophy - the closest I got was embracing Van Vogt's non-Aristotlean logic - but I'll dig it out again when I get home at the weekend and see if it makes more sense than last time.
