can any one please explain why every time i try to embed a video it just pastes like a load of unreadable nonsense( a bit like an mf or pinky on drink posts ) not the pretty you tube thingy's that every one else posts :-5

I got told the secret of this when I was playing around trying to post videos.

Apparently you can only embed them in the forums designated as video enabled. I'd guess that's any forum in the fourth section of the list.

Max, there were nine threads out there with scattered questions all needing similar replies. I've merged them all into this thread so you can see what people have said more easily. Please keep your questions in here for a while so we can sort you out.

You're asking multiple times without answering queries that might allow us to straighten you out. Here's what we need to know:

"There's a 'Private Messages' hyperlink in the top right hand corner under the Welcome note, clicking it lists all the messages you have. Clicking the message title then gets you the text." - what is it about this instruction which fails to solve your PM query?

Which browser are you using? What operating system do you have? Maybe there's a compatibility issue that's affecting you.

you seem like you in a bit of a pickle

follow these instructions and see if this work's.

1) Click on 'my settings' top left hand corner

2) heading labeled 'private messages' click on this it will bring a drop down meanu

3) click on 'inbox'

4) new message should be highlighted in bold writing, click on this to read

Viola you should now be reading the message

if this doesn't work then don't come to me :p :sneaky:

Have you installed any browser toolbars? Are any pop-up managers installed? Have you brought in any other browser add-ins which affect sites? Have you changed your browser security settings from the default values?

Im sorry about the FG glitches.

I have a box with all these dials and buttons on them and I dont know what they all do.

I was trying to do some fine tuning and things got out of hand.

I know the red one zaps Magenta and the orange one confuses everyone long enough for me to get out of town but the rest Im not sure about.

Ill keep trying.

Did someones cat just start on fire ?

Max at the bottom right of the post is a quote button u can click on taht if you want to reply to that person. if you scroll right down to the bottom of the page there is a post reply button on the bottom left. and like minks said dont forget to click on submit reply after you have typed your post:D

Max, the button at the top and bottom left of every thread page looks like this:

It's in just the same place that you found the button when you were looking at a forum and started a new thread.
