I'm in sunny Cyprus, the sun is shining on the white gravel we have in the back garden and it's so bright, i have to squint to look at it and it hurts my eyes...lol

until about three days ago, our weathers been brilliant, think thats why what we've got now has come as a bit of a shock to the system. still it is nearly october and it was bound to change sooner or later, i hate it when the clocks go back, dont like the long dark nights.

Are you the one that posted about there being snow?

It's cooler here that it has been but still quite hot at days, i can't remember when the clocks go back here but it will probably be different from when yours go back.

Hello Kinks ! I have read lots of your posts on other threads about all sorts of subjects. Nice to see you popping in here, so please keep popping in ! Sorry I can't chat much at the moment. Something has happened out of the blue, which must be addressed as soon as possible, for me, so I may not be able to come on the thread very often. However, the others on here - nutty as they are - I am sure will chinwag about all sorts of things !

Well the party went off great last night and a good time was had by all!! Plenty of food and drink and a good old sing song to finish off lol. My sis in law thinks every party should have a sing song at some point:wah: But the good thing about it was i got to sing Innamorata (by dean martin) with my dad. when i was little and my dad had been out, i always used to ask him to sing and he used to sing that song all the time, up until now i just realised the only person i ever heard singing that song was my dad! and i could still remember all the words. As most of you know i go to my sis in laws on Thursday nights, so i will be there tonight, then im back there saturday as they are having a prty to celebrate my great nephews 1st birthday lol. It will be a kiddies party, till all the kiddies toddle off home, then it will turn in to an adult party, yes they only need the flimsiest excuse to throw a party lol. One time they had a party for their dog Harvey's 1st birthday, It did coincide with something else but i cant recall what it was now, anyway the funniest thing was i was daft enought o take a card and a pressie along for Harvey:wah:

Hi to EVERYBODY....and may I say how good it is to see new faces here today and lots of our lovely visitors......................and of course Jim :yh_rotfl.

Gill I have been out working today and have to go shopping in a mo but hopefully hope to chat to you later and do you mean Dave whose the mate of Mike ........didnt know he was on here:wah:

BooBoo had her op yesterday as most of you know. Its turns out that they found another tumour, which of course they took away. I am now waiting for tests to come back to know how far the cancer has gone. Even as ill as she is she is such a happy little soul bless her.Its a shame that vets are so expensive as there must be alot of pets out there needing urgent treatment and the owners are unable to pay the vets fees. Yes I know you can get help but you have to meet certain conditions and some just go over those yet still they can be so hard up.I remember so well many years ago my husband telling me that he needed some slippers and me telling him things were tough and we just couldn't. the next day one of my cats was run over and in a bad way. the vet told us it would be expensive to put him right..........we told him to go ahead. My husband worked all the hours he could and so did I and we got that money together..............only trouble was then he still didn't get those new slippers lol.So little BooBoo will get her treatment.........................no matter what...... I mean just look at that face!!!! Talk laterxxxx

:wah: Hi to you too, it's nice speaking to a few new people....all the more to love me...lol, guess you might not get that unless you've seen my "who loves kinks " thread, Was a bit cheeky and started asking people if they love me, only after being here a few days.

I think i've only been on here about a week, maybe a bit longer and i've " met" so many nice people and now you are another one and along with Gill, probably some others but can't think off the top of my head right now...lol.

well, i've just cleaned up behind my little bird, i've given her left over food to a friend but im keeping her cage. this isnt her but they look similar

hi carol,

ive got a damn good vet.

when my other old dog had to have a lot of work done on his teeth, the bill was huge but they let me pay in instalments and once when we thought he had had a stroke, the vet had to come from his home to the surgury at 7pm and didnt charge me a penny !!

they have now enlarged their practise and all the buildings so they can cope better with farm animals and horses and have also becoming a teaching hospital.

one of my grandaughters wants to be a vet,or work for the rspca, she starts work experiance soon in a little vets hospital that cater for people who have a job with paying their bills.

she's so soft with animals, i hope she can cope cos she's going to see things far worse than they show on animal hospital etc !!
