The Limerick Game

As you all know, a limerick is a poem of five lines, rhymed AABBA. The first line contains either 7 or 8 syllables.

This being my (stolen) idea, I will be providing the first line in the first ever FG limerick game. Fellow perpetrators should quote the previous line(s) of the current crime. Whoever completes a limerick should immediately start another.

So, line 1 of limerick 1:-

“There was an old bag from Nantucket”
An ye harm none, do what ye will....

When this limerick is completed maybe people would like to try a challenge I set for myself a few weeks ago?

The challenge is to explain the rules of writing a limerick as a limerick. Or two limericks if it can't be done as just one.
