I was getting the kids in the car this morning to take my daughter to school and she came over and jumped into the car and sat there smiling at me, like "ok, let's go!"

Seemed fairly random at the time.....yesterday I watched a group of people in the middle of the road throwing a frozen turkey at bowling pins.

Today downtown someone set up grass on the street near the curb. A patch about 15' long and 10' wide.

They placed potted trees on the grass and there was a little area with patio stones. There were several of these oasis's, maybe a dozen throughout the downtown area. Some had a table and some had a couple of chairs or a bench. People would come and sit down on the grass and eat lunch or just shoot the breeze then move on.

After the lunch rush they packed the grass and trees up and left in a truck with it.

Dont ask because I dont know but it was kind of quirky.

Saturday morning here - and we had a weird wind storm last night, sort of blowing away trees and the end of the full moon. End of ski season too. This has been an interesting FG week. Red Glitter celebrates her ten thousandth! Accountable reports in wonderfully about his teaching. Jones Jones outdoes Mr Poe! And Minksy dances a chockie cha cha.

It's a long weekend here. No idea what we're celebrating. But I'm off down the mountain to the beach anyway. In the high country here, the temperature last night got close to our zero (Celsius). It will be warmer on the coast, and hopefully swimmable.

In my absence, I trust that you will all behave in proper ForumGarden style.
